    Renuka George, you have done a great work. Some 15 years back I, from Thiruvananthapuram, with my family went to Kottakkal during the festival of Viswambhara kshetram, stayed there and enjoyed Kathakali for 3 nights. Jeevithathil orikkalum marakkaan kazhiyatha aa 3 divassngal.
    Ee videoyil kaanunna kunjungal innu valare reputed nadanmaar aayi valarnnirikkunnu. Ivide samsaaricha aa kunju Harikumar innu mikacha nadanmaaril oraal aayirikkunnu. Sathyathil, manassu orupaadu niranju, kannukalum.
    Orupaadu nandi, ee documentary kaanichathinu.

      He is performing the character of bheema in the play Duryodhana vadham..

      Thank you. I could make out Kottakkal Chandrashekhara Varier ashaan and Kottakkal Madhu. Any info about the other artists. Many will be famous and leading artists of today. Is Kottakkal Devadas Ashaan in that

      @@renukageorge4495 Hello Renuka, when I saw this video for the first time recently, I showed it to my family and also to many of the people in this video (my home is next to Natysangham in Kottakkal). We had a huge discussion on which year was this (my guess was late 1980s)! Then I saw this comment! :D
      Some of the people in this documentary have died (Kottakkal Chandrashekharan and Kottakkal Krishnan kutty). Many of the teachers in the video have retired. Those kids in the beginning are the present teachers, along with new people.
      Natyasangham is going on as it is. It was great to see the place about 30 years ago. Thanks for uploading! :)

      @@rajakeshav Thank yo for watching and sharing it. I still think its an extraordinary place, and the dedication required from the artists is phenomenal. It was privilege for me to make this film there and to share the lives of these students for a short while.
