- Russia has announced the transfer of S-500 air defence missile systems to its Army. Russian Defense Minister said the army will get the next-generation missile systems in 2024. Sergei Shoigu added that the S-500 missile systems will be supplied in two modifications. Shoigu also said that the supply of Pantsir missile systems will be doubled in 2024. Watch for more.

Russia can also work on its laser weapon systems and test them with the nato missiles ukraine will be firing. China India and Iran can also send their weapons to Russia for testing.
They already have laser weapons, used them on Chinese some 40+ years ago when they refused to return across the Russian border back to China. They obviously made up since then, thanks to the western policies.

The S-500 will be no game winning weapon (this would only be a cheap but reliable drone defence), but it can help defend the Ukrainian F-16s when they attack.
