Why Hamas has made large number of tunnels to distance of 400 kms and width ,that a truck could pass? 400 kms long tunnel could reach any part of Israel by trucks, which could carry weapon too. Ultimately Rafah attack would be nothing if Hamas takes on Israel, that's the worry for Israeli and it's allies, before the conflict took place neither Israel nor it's allies were unknown about setting up of these tunnels, it could have taken by some years and in all those days Israel was commanding Gaza in spite of that they are unaware these projects.
Missiles off Hamas went past the Iron Domes and killed 1200+ Israeli on the first day of the attack, this too was not expected and no intelligent report hasn't been furnished and Israel did cut off the internet service immediately which has gone other way since Hamas were using stattelite service for communications. These are the few things went unnoticed
