Flat blade slotted screws are always the elegant solution.. It might be a Rat Rod but your a classy designer Bob. I like the look of their natural stainless beauty but that's just me.
I agree, she's looking awesome. Yeah, I like the exhaust pipes too. The air moving over the top of them should provide some negative pressure and help scavenge to some degree. Maybe not as much as a collector, but good enough for a rat rod, and after all, it's more important for a rat rod to be loud, not fast.
How you did the headers is awesome. Love it!!!! One of my favorite rods getting built right now. Can't wait to see it finished. I agree with a few of the people commenting about the SS fasteners. Leave them like they are. More bling bling.

I don't think he's stopped building, he went from Charlotte to the Demon Falcon, then the rat bike and then the truck. In between he tinkered with the Henry J, Fairlane and MGB. I don't think he has taken a break.
