Thanks for this throwback. I spent my semester abroad in Loughborough, and the town and the campus are forever in my heart. I see some new places obviously, but most of it is so familiar. The food stores, The Amber Rooms… We loved the food in Moon and Bell, we went to the Odeon Cinema to see The Queen. Then the train station, from which we would go to Nottingham, Derby etc. And the Students’ Union - it would close the night with the Baywach theme. I wonder if it is still the case:)

Hi! Unfortunately no there is not an Ediya Coffee Shop near the town - I don’t believe there is any in the UK at the moment.

I was at LUT in 1970, graduated with ChE degree and now live in LA, the town has changed so much it is not recognizable anymore! Thx

Hi, hope you had a successful move in day! Some of the takeaways & resturants that are popular options are Public & Plants, Baobab Cafe, Tarboush & Fat Buns are just a few from the top of my head.
