I think the bracers are very awesome and if they work for you that is fantastic. However I tried getting these C frames to fit and it just would not work on me. I think the fitment is a little finicky, a hit or miss for sure. Hopefully sometime I will get the opportunity to get the one that fits right.

The only problem with knee braces they won't stop chunks of rocks or sticks going thru open spots . I would rather have the guards . We have a lot of rocks on the off roads here. You pay a lot of money for about 30% protection no thanks .

Have you ever checked out Mobius or Asterisk knee braces? Asterisk has a few holes in them but Mobius is total front coverage with a brace.

Yeah, same with the braces. Most mx / off-road boots are wider at the top to accommodate.

knee braces can help you if the track you are riding through is twisty like in the forest. once I fell down and the weight of my bike almost crushed my right leg, it's like when you try to snap a toothpick, yeah absolute horror, wish I had knee braces at that time and I'm super grateful my leg is okay.
