  • This is the full story of Brian's GT-R (from 2 Fast 2 Furious) as told by the guy that created it.
In the video, I tell the story of how I built this GT-R to serve as sponsor showpiece and show car. Universal selected this car for use in 2 Fast 2 Furious.

funny same here.. maybe its made on purpose that we get to know what was real or fake and how things were done cause if we knew that earlier the movies wouldnt have such a good reputation and the sells might have been much worse than they were. for example the fact that they used only 1 real gtr in the fourth movie. i thought 2 fast 2 furious had gtt's and less real gtrs. after theyve done their job and made enough profit now we know some more details. never mind they did their job good and i still love the franchise. gotta admit though 2 fast 2 furious was the real deal. i love the other movies as well but they are not what they are meant to be

Certainly might not have fit at that and if they had stayed with Import Tuner cars, but think of it this way, ultimately the franchisee shifted from Import tuner to muscle cars, so the Shelby style Stripes were the perfect visual transition for what was to come IMHO. Honestly I think they look really cool.

4:00 Craig mate, I disagree with you about the muscle car stripes. Down this way in New Zealand, car culture is predominantly Ford vs Holden (GM) V8's. Having the Skyline with the bold racing stripes gave it cred amongst the bogan street racers down here, where the Supra Gladiator looked too Ricer, the Skyline looked buff and aggressive.
