Incredible. The Comms in the background makes everything a whole lot more epic. And the Su-27 launch was incredible.
Edit: I also can’t stress how good that shot following the catapult thingy as is retracts is. That was like on the level of a high budget movie. Incredible job!

Thought I was watching a movie the whole time, completely immersed. Just wondering what do you use to edit and add texts I’m thinking of making films like this myself
I use adobe aftereffects solely for the text, however for the money you're best off just compromising. To edit I use Cyberlink Power Director. However as with everything It has its limitations, so just research and see what's best for you. Good luck if you decide to make a film!

Purely incredible. Visuals, sound, story everything. Absolutely nailed the atmosphere and "weight" of the movie. Awesome.
DCS content creators are some of the most talented people that I've ever seen in any medium. Your work can easily rival multi million dollar productions from billion dollar franchises. And I've seen a lot of DCS cinematics but you're easily at the very top and you deserve way more subs and attention. I literally goosebumps every single time I watch this.

That tracking shot with the steam catapult is pure gold. Awesome composition, music, sound throughout...by far one of the best cinematics made in DCS. Well done

The only thing that could be improved in my humble opinion is the color grading, it looks like the default dcs look and I believe you could give it a more cinematic tone.

Thanks! And I may start playing around with the colour settings, especially as the new editor I use has way more options for that sort of stuff. Thanks for the constructive criticism and I’ll see how it goes!

The fact that a sim has graphics and A.I. that you can create cinematic episodes boggles the mind. A long way from the Microprose days.

This was a pretty engaging piece. I liked it, save one detail. As much as I have faith in the quality of training and technological supremacy of the United States armed forces, I don't think they'd come out of an engagement like that without losing a plane or two. I was waiting for one of those MiG-29s to splash a Hornet then get taken out, or an F-14 to make an appearance to take out that E-2.

How did you get the radio sound effect for the voices? im trying to make a dcs movie and I can't find a believable radio sound effect :/
They’re real radio communications so I just use those, so no need for sound effects. Hope that helps :)
