Wout van Aert is a great domestique. He’s sometimes makes it to the last couple of kilometres in mountain top finishes but usually Visma have other riders so I can’t really tell how much the altitude affects him. Evenepoel is still a solid rider and maybe the comparison is a slight bit harsh. He is a grand tour GC winner, although I think it was against fairly weak competition (for a grand tour). Roglic (3 time winner) dns’ed stage 17 1.5 mins behind Evenepoel and Mas was the only other solid GC rider at the time (3 2nd places at vuelta) Today (stage 1)’s tour highlights should be a nice watch. Close finale!
I don't know if you have mentioned it at some stage or not but Novo Nordisk is a team made up entirely of diabetics, and exists to raise awareness and stuff.
