Sadly it doesn't help me enjoy cycling more. I'm at that age where a steel frame 🚲 (fat tire, road, gravel, single speed cruiser brake, etc) that works OK is good for me. This 🚲 technology is fun to look at but it doesn't help me anymore.
I don’t race, care little about aero gains and prefer mostly comfort with performance. It’s not for me and would be seriously too expensive for my budget. But it’s fun to see what the pros are using.
It would be fun to ride one for a couple of minutes on a closed course at some trade event, just to see what the very high end is like. But otherwise, I have no interest in them.
lol...Aero is SO overrated for us mortals. Great bike, but I personally like more a climbing bike with 50mm deep wheels. That set up gets it done for me.
I rather like Ollies presentation of the bike. The information is on point and delivered in an enthusiastic but sober manner. He states that the content is sponsored and I respect that. Besides the bike being great, I‘m sure, I did not feel dragged by the hair to fall in love with it. I could do with less of the overly dramatic music…but hey 😅 Well done!
I almost didn't watch this video because I'm not in the market for a Pinarello bike--or any bike, for that matter. But I'm glad I did. I learned a lot about bike aerodynamics and why bike designers make the decisions they do. Revelatory for this non-techie cyclist! Thank you!

Still a lot in time and mental inventory though... thats just the finish process, before the bike/product is even built! Aesthetics have such intrinsic value more than ever in my opinion! Just to see if it works and goes with some metallic effect tiles

Ollie, this makes me want y’all to do a video on how a non-pro (non-rich) rider can have a superbike. For those of us shopping for a new bike for say 3k to 5k budget, can you cover options for buying a used superbike in the same range. Which would be the best bargains, how to find them, maybe a contest among the presenters to see who found the best bang for buck.
I honestly feel that Carbon frames have had their time. From what I can gather, only Time build their frames consistently well, because carbon is so hard to work with. I feel - with 32mm tyres - we’re heading back to metal frames, probably aluminium alloys, because they’re cheap and easy to work with. The only downside was comfort - but that’s irrelevant with 32mm tyres at 55psi.
As an owner of an Elves frame that has the colour change effect, I'd formally like to welcome Pinarello owners of this new paint style to the party. Welcome, and kindly check-in the chip on your sholuder at the concierge counter. (Smug smirk) Jokes aside, Im not a fan of the blue but Im sure the other colour options would look beautiful.
Tom Pidcock ride 50cm frame the trail was 68mm which is too long in old Dogma so he want's to increase rake to get faster handling, but due to Pinarello use the same fork to all frames, the trail number in new Dogma will be less than 53.3 for frame size larger than 56cm which Ollie is riding. The handling should be quite twitchy for him especially he use narrow handle bar. Perheps this is why he seems avoiding give comments in 10:34.
Why the cycling media keeps promoting race bikes is bizarre. Specialized released the Crux DSW the other week - all the usual suspects ignored it......
Hidden axles is a terrible idea - my BMC has them. I can’t use most roof racks, can’t put it on a turbo. Basically, marketing over substance. But if someone can afford £13k for a bike, they probably won’t care.
My "old" dogma F (Pianrello size 54) with exact same spec but with wider Ultra Talon Bars 420mm and Metron 45 SL wheels and 200g Pedals weights 7270g so really minor difference...
