  • When you cook your ribs this way....you will never go back to your old way of cooking ribs!!
    A dry rub, oven baking and grilling/smoking, makes for VERY flavorful and tender ribs!!
    You will absolutely love these ribs!!

      - If you like your ribs with a little bit of "bite", you can still prepare them as shown in the video. Everyone likes their ribs differently, so you will just have to experiment a bit...until you find the doneness you like. The key will be, the amount of time you leave them in the oven. Since you like a little more bite, remove them from the oven earlier. I would try 2 hours in the oven first, then see how they measure up to your preference.....then adjust the oven time accordingly. You can still finish them off on the grill. The ribs are fully cooked after you remove them from the oven. The grilling is just to add some extra taste from the smoke and for the sauce to caramelize and get nice and sticky. This doesn't usually take very long, depending on the heat of your grill. When they look so good you can't wait any longer.....then they are done ;-) On my little grill, it was about 5 minutes per side or so. Thanks for watching. I hope you will give it a try. Good luck & Happy Eating!!! I hope this helps. Thank you for watching and commenting. Happy Cooking.....Grilling and most importantly......Eating!!!!

    So you only leave them on the grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side for a smokey chard bbq rib or do you let them sit for a while

    • @ThePieguysKitchen
      @ThePieguysKitchen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Ribs Are Basically Ready To Eat, Right From The Oven. The Grilling Is Just To Achieve The Smokey, Char Taste. Depending On How Much Of That Taste You Like, Will Determine How Long You Leave Them On The Grill. Generally Speaking, A Few Minutes Per Side. Just Don't Leave Them On Too Long, To Avoid Drying Them Out. Thanks For Watching. Good Luck & Happy Cooking!!👍

      The Ribs Are Fully Cooked When You Take Them From The Oven, The Grilling Is Just To Add Some Smoky Flavor And To Caramelize The Bbq Sauce. So, There's Really No Specific Amount Of Time On The Grill. Your Eyes And Your Stomach Will Let You Know, When It's Time To Eat... Generally It's Around The Time You Start To Drool 🤤😂😋 Good Luck & Happy Cooking!!

    Wy did you cut it doing so you let all the juces run out

    • @ThePieguysKitchen
      @ThePieguysKitchen  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      - When I cut the slab into smaller sections, to fit easier on my small grill....the ribs had already cooled, they weren't right out of the oven. I have never had a problem with ribs that weren't juicy. I made ribs today, for Labor Day and I had juice running down my chin and even my arm at one point. The slab doesn't have to be cut into sections, like I did in the video....I do it because it's easier to do on my small grill, plus people can just grab a section and put it on their plates as I'm cooking....they don't have to wait for me to get all the ribs done. Cut or don't cut, it's up to you, but these ribs are a crowd pleaser! Thanks for watching & Happy Grilling!!!
