    Super excited for you and your channel ideas :) Do you think you could go straight into private practice or do most therapists start in a clinic? I am also on my journey of helping others, overcoming BPD (learning to live a healthy happy life with it) has been the most difficult but gratifying achievement in my life. I think helping others move through difficult emotions with yin yoga as a tool is what I am feeling drawn too as its helped me tremendously-maybe starting a youtube channel? Keeping my mind open to also becoming a therapist one day, not sure if that is my path as I can be easily triggered and overwhelmed. Excited for more great content

    Lol i guess everyone goes through that. My last semester I was completely done and so was our professor so it made it easy. Just 7 more weeks 🙂

      The program and university I attained they go year round. So the professors only get a week in between semesters. They are always tired. I’m excited to not have school for a while at least I’ve done it for so long non stop. I’m glad to hear someone else went through that as well.

      @@itsinoteee That sounds like fun. Why did you choose school counseling?

    • @itsinoteee
      @itsinoteee ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kdcounseling i chose it because I’ve always worked with kids and my mom is a teacher so she had a influence on wanting to work in the schools.

      @@itsinoteee That’s great. My school counselors were always amazing. I am excited to hear about your journey.

    After you finish your provisional license I would suggest starting your own private practice. Working for others in this game doesn't pay well. I tripled my income working for myself. Do some super part time work with one of the large online counseling agencies is also a good source of extra income.

      That’s great advice. I actually get paid very well per client right now and once I am fully licensed it’s going to be even more. I definitely need to have my own clients and company

    I'm about to have my grad school interview for my dream school next week :D!! omggg so excited and nervous!
    I'd love to see a video about insurance! Can registered interns do private practice or group private practice? Would you need to hire your own supervisor?

      You’ll do great just be yourself. You can work in both depending of how they bill. Everyone is different. Yes, for the supervisor part you can get lucky and have someone supervise you for free at the place you work at or you can find your own person that you want to supervise you.
