Dood. LOVE the channel. CAVU=Ceiling and visibility unlimited. You're now free to move about the Internets!
Oh yeah, you're ready. Speaking as a long ago retired check airman whose duties included transitioning newly hired pilots into learning the aircraft that we flew, some of the toughest instruction was trying to introduce the concept of flaring before touchdown to ex-carrier pilots. LOL.
I live just off the approach of Runway 29 in GJT. What a great job of describing the area I grew up in. Love you guys as you turn to 150 deg after takeoff. Right over my patio! Love it! 😊
Cheers!
This was my first video I watched. Loved it , the absolute best channel. I can’t let a day go by without watching or even rewatching as in this case. Go Navy!
Brother Pail...THANKS for your AMAZING videos and perspective(s)! Having had the privilege of flying the Mighty F-15C Eagle for over 17 years, retired in 2011 (ugh!), I can only say that I hope you understand, EVERY SORTIE, the rare opportunity it is to fly Americas PREMIER aircraft. Bravo Zulu and Sierra Hotel from a very humble Aviator - callsign "Spam"
New favourite channel. Please keep the videos coming!
You are doing very good work, it is a pleasure to watch you.
Thanks for the voiceover and ride Really Appreciated look forward to all your videos
Love your channel. I could always tell when i flew copilot for a Navy pilot, or now my copilots. The "arrival" is always telling. ;)
See 18s frequently here in CO - BKF and GJT. Its great seeing the same areas from the cockpit - thanks!
Love seeing my hometown on this! 🤘🏻
Great Navy landing! Thanks for your service sir 🤙
People said that "Too good to be true" and finally is true with the voice of a legendary commercial airline advertising. 😊🎉💯💥
Love it!
I currently live in Denver, and I haven't had the pleasure of going up and over the mountain toward Grand Junction, but I hear it's beautiful out there.
Sure is.
Always enjoy a firm contact with the ground landing.
So cool!! ✌️ My daughter will do a highschool year as an exchange student in the Denver area starting in August 🇺🇸🤝🇩🇪 Thx for this preview of Western Colorado - great channel 👍👍
I'm in Montrose, had several F-18s at the Salute to Aviation a year or so ago. I have seen the Blue Angels twice, once at Elmendorf and again at Walker in Grand Junction. Thanks for the landing tutorial, 10K ft runway barely qualifies as a landing for a carrier pilot!
Just saw some of your compatriots landing and gassing up in KRAP before heading on towards NY somewhere. Cool bunch of dudes. I remember in my ATC days.....Navy jets usually went to the overhead, unless they were training flights, then it was PAR (again and again and again....as long as the gas lasted).....usually a SUPER tight radar vector pattern to a six mile final. NAV pilots listened the best..... I enjoy your vids.
Beautiful day and video as always
Thanks for all you do
Hand salute, Sir! That was one smooth landing! Go NAVY!!!
Nice. Great narration, a thousand things going on at once and you trapped the three wire. Dad WWII, late brother Vietnam, younger brother both gulf conflicts. Navy, Navy, Navy.
Amen.
GJT is a good alternative for DEN. Always have good luck there for a quick gas and go
Love your videos! I was born in Fruita and grew up in Grand Junction. My family always had an airplane and I have flown in and out of Walker Field countless times. Your history of the area was spot on. My father was in the uranium business…working for Union Carbide. Thanks for the awesome videos!!
Cheers!!
Great jam today, Pail. Love getting to Fly Navy when these show up.
Best ever Pail, Bob Ross United Airlines Capt. In the making. And Yes, loved the signature moves X 2.
Hemmroids ??? 😊
You askin’? 😡
As a former EMS BH-412 Pilot at KGJT/ST MARY'S, that area has a lot to offer. Palisade Peaches in season are mouth watering, juicy, delicious. Further west, Green River melons are some of the best in the country. The FBO used to transfer over 100,000 gallons of military contract fuel each month to the cross-country fliers. Montrose (KMTJ), a little further away is also a good op stop. Really enjoy the videos, but will understand your jump to bus driver if the offer is made. Good luck!
