First off Happy Memorial Day to all .. Awesome #1 video Sir . Well one thing about it the JB welded was still holding up I was kinda curious too about where it’s leaking.. My dad use to say working on a vehicle is like peeling a onion cause you gotta take off layers and it cause you to tear up sometimes… Hopefully the Ac compressor wouldn’t be too bad to replace .. I believe that plastic shield is to keep snow and rain out of the air cleaner.
What happened to the Grand Cherokee?
In the dealership world, we think the engineers are justifying their job whenever they design something that makes no sense to us.
I’ve told customers many times that if engineers had to spend a year as a technician, they would do better with designs.

Today’s engineers work from a computer screen which is flat. They are robbed of the real world perspective that you are referring to. Working with your hands will alway benefit any engineer or designer.
