The VQ is a real platform for the price. In the V world the 6,8,10,12 are considered as noble engine. But if you really want to beat the crap of your car. you need to go ( merco amg, audi rs, or Porsche tho) the 5 in line cylinder AUDI RS3 without tune is about 400 hp to the crank. And can make best number without modifications. My homie got one recently tuned it's about 474 wheel hp right now. German for the speed, Italian for the exotic luxury and Japanese for the reliability 🤷🏽♂️

All tuners do to get you more power is advance the timing as far as they can without pre-detonation, and add more air and fuel to accommodate. Most cars are tuned for a balance of gas mileage, performance, and reliability. Most tunes for naturally aspirated cars are pretty reliable, but just know your mileage is going to tank.

should've added in VHR manifolds, hybrids def dont mess around I have one. VHR Manifolds on my HR is an insane feeling.
The VQ37VHR/VQ35HR is one of the most expensive platforms to make power. If you really want high HP, get a Mustang. They're around 35k for a V8 Premium. BUT you don't have to dump so much TIME and money getting it to the 450whp mark and relatively cheap to get to 700whp.
A VQ will cost you 9k for boost, 2k for proper fueling, and 4k if you need a shop. If you have an =

If your not going to do a new intake manifold you can get the plenum spacers z1 Motorsports get some extra air to them cylinders
