That's awesome. So we can put the oscilloscope and watch the can bus signals if they're good or bad. Plus we can isolate if it's the ecm or the wiring by disconnecting the inline connectors. Great idea.
This is a great device. I have ran into issues with no power or no communication at the obd port. This would have been great to have. Looks like there's another tool I'll be add to my ebay cart. Just waiting for the laptop to be back it stock.

Great idea! I think it would be cool if you could add a 4mm banana connector at the multimeter, so you can add a scope.
At the end of the 4mm banna connector is a port that you can plug in an additional 4mm banana plug into such as a scope!👍🏾

Are we doing the test with the car key in the on position when testing throughout the vehicle for shortages?
You only need no power when testing resistance across the bus, it should be 60ohm with a multimeter
