13. Fun fact. Professor Binn was the most boring wizard in life AND death. He taught History of Magic while alive. He died peacefully in his sleep, woke up as a ghost, and just went about teaching his classes. Business as usual. Didn't even realize he was dead.
I think he actually died during a fire in the staff room while he was asleep, and went on the next day to continue teaching as a ghost like nothing happened.
In the graveyard in Hogsmeade there's a secret underground lair you can enter, but it's only available at night. You fight some ashwinders and get a master chest reward for solving a puzzle. Really cool!

This way if you miss you can just thaw it and try again instead of waiting for arresto momento to lose effect and you don't have to worry about getting in and out of the doors fast.

11:45 actually there is 3 in total. the one for the ravenclaw girl quest is actually called the hall of herodiana but there is a depulso room 1 and 2. the one you shown by the sphinx and another one in the long hallway behind the big door with a lock on in the bell tower just opposite the main entrance to the school where natty or sebastian wait for you to go to hogsmede which incidentally you also pass by at 18:01.
Yeah on my first playthrough I thought all three were the same room. It wasn't until I decided to Platinum the game and found myself short on my conjuration collections that I found out they were seperate. Speaking of conjuration chests... There are three in each Vivarium.
There's also one kinda creepy thing about professor Binns. While exploring the castle, I found a corridor full of artifacts from, for example, Egypt. There was also Professor Binns' private office there. The office had a desk and an armchair covered with fabric. As we know from the books, the professor died in this chair. In the morning, he went to class as a ghost without noticing his death. We can assume that his body was not immediately discovered in that chair either. Maybe that's why the chair is covered with fabric in the game, because profeosr died in it and the body stayed in the chair for some time, causing it to be damaged. Just assuming, but creeeeepyyyy.
Wouldn't it be odd to not be able to clean the chair and have it look good as new when you have spells like reparo? I'm sure there are ways to clean it. The fabric might be eluding to the way he died and not that his body was left in it for a long time to the point the chair was damaged or soiled.
Here's some real life talk for you: if the Fabric parts of a chair are ruined they actually got ripped off and replaced in the past eventually. Hi, thanks for uploading this, I've just completed the game and thought I cracked all the secrets and discovered all Easter eggs, but you showed me 2 things I didn't see or knew: 1. I never saw that scene with the sheep in the hospital wing (8:20). 2. This is both surprising and embarrassing on my part - I didn't know you can repel the devil's snair with Lumos (15:15), I always burned it. :))) Now allow me to tell you something you haven't mentioned (20:40) - you can get into the headmaster's office much earlier than during the Polyjuice Plot main quest (when Prof. Fig turns you into headmaster Black). You can fly to the tower from the outside and land on the balcony, then you need lvl. 3 Alohomora to enter both upper and lower offices where you can get the key to open that big door with the keyhole in the center. What's interesting, if you get to the headmaster's office before the Polyjuice quest, there will be a note on the desk, which you can't pick until after the Polyjuice quest - it's a note from Prof. Sharp about the boils treatment potion. :) Also, what you showed in the Sphinx room (11:26) is actually Depulso Room 2. There is also Depulso Room 1 in addition to the Hall of Herodiana, wich is a part of the quest (so there are 3 Depulso puzzle rooms in total). You can get to Depulso Room 1 from The Bell Tower Wing => Bell Tower Cortyard. When you fast travel to this Floo Flame, turn 180° to the SE, enter the door into the hall with a troll on the left and the room with the Gorgon painting on the right, then continue SE almost all the way through the long corridor, it will be on your left (actually, you have it in your video - you ran past the entrance to Depulso Room 1 at 18:00, you can see it on your right). Though, Room 1 is not as challenging as Room 2.
Gobsmacked at the history of magic class. Played for hours and thought id seen most things. Deffo giving that a go on my new play through. Great content and really well delivered. Very engaging even on the ones i knew.
I didn't even know you could enter that Manor to fight those two named baddies that way. I always used it as the way out at the end. Both of my playthroughs (good/bad) I entered via a stairwell in the ruins of the manor itself. The more you know!
I got the headmaster key way before the main quest led me to the office : you can land your broom on the headmaster office balcony; but you still need lvl3 unlock spell.
If you like the effect of the store with three entrances/interiors, play Psychonauts 2 sometime. It does that sort of thing frequently, and it's just plain good.
the key can be got sooner if you have lvl 3 locks and a broom you can fly up to the balcony above the headmasters room. so you can get it right after the moon missions.
Usually these videos end up showing me something new that makes me go and have a look. But i've played the game so thoroughly that the only think left to me beyond starting a new character is to discover the map chamber three more times......Well two now 😅
I don’t know of anyone who’s actually said anything about it, but with the basilisk breeder, if you look by the broken crates, there’s a broken egg with its two shells right there.
During the mission where you use polyjuice potion to get the headmasters password from scrope, after talking to the elve, you can interact with the golden bookstand. You will give a short speech that for the rest of the year, the great hall shall be decorated with the banners of and after a short moment said banners will appear from the ceiling. #hogwartslegacy #secrets #harrypottergame
1:47 Hedwig’s death was entirely pointless and there for shock, change my mind. And if you don’t know why I mentioned the time to talk about HEDWIG, google the REAL name of the Harry Potter theme Also 5:31 this is a reference to real life alchemy… which is literally early chemistry, even with a reference to Hippocrates’s theory of four humours, as each humour was assigned to a different element out of Air, Water, Earth and Fire
In the mission to sneak into the restricted section of the library one of the books you can interact with before Peeves finds you is Secret of the Darkest Arts which is the book that tells Voldemort how to make horcruxes
Glacies works way better on the clock than Arresto Momentum. Once you done one chamber, you can unfreeze it with fire spell and continue faster on the another floor.
Don't know if anyone's told you but there's 3 depulso challenges... 3rd ones down a hallway of pictures, where the potions storage room is like in the movie when Snape confronts Harry about the stolen polyjuice ingredients, I've not been on the game recently but I think it's either near potions or through one of the doors of the transfiguration courtyard 😅
3:35 you can use Confringo to unfreeze the Glacius spell off of the clocktower. I'm not sure if you can break the Arresto Momentum one but I've done the Glacius/Confringo one.
Good video! I hade already found all of them already, but it was entertaining non theless. 😀 i'm one of the few who has unlocked completely everything in the collection tab. 😅
I have to say I'm so close to 100% its crazy I just have field guide pages left only like 20 too so I'm super close and I was hoping this may have helped me a bit unfortunately I had already gotten everything in your video but I did find it fun to watch and thought it was a great little guide for those who haven't got them yet great work man
You can freeze the clock tower and then unfreeze it with the flame spell, so you do'nt have to wait. I didn't even notice the solution of the puzzle was printed on the viaduc. I got it by pure logic :p
I remember playing Scooby-Doo night of a 1000 frights, the dog barking in that section drove the family dog crazy, cause he could hear the dogs but not see them, it took us a while to figure out what he was looking for
7:02 I noticed this one while flying around hogwarts on the broom, frustrated the life out of me for a sec bc my dumbass didn’t realise there was a way down lmao, if I remember right you need to light a them for the thing to turn properly
the last one your question with the keys is all about being hidden in plain sight, anyone that would find the key would not think to try it until they find the other 3 keys, which we all know it's a waste of time.
Isnt it more likely made to prevent someone to enter by using Alohomora? To my understanding, Alohomra require the caster to understand the inner working of the lock, therefore the more complex the locking system is the harder it would be to unlock it with alohomora. (gringots vault's door are among the hardest, practically impossible to breach) For that door, as i would imagine, the caster would need to cast alohomora five time with each lock being slightly different each time and likely staying on the location for a short period (any error would reset the lock to it's starting position, if not jamming the door close).
One thing I'll have to try is to use Glacius on fireplaces around Hogwarts (or outside of Hogwarts) because I'm pretty sure I only discovered maybe only one fireplace to seek a secret passageway for a treasure chest with the detecting spell, and I'm pretty sure there might be a second or third I might have missed.
I think there is at least 3 depulso puzzle rooms. One from the quest, the one you found (that doesn't look like the one I found) and the one I found (I don't remember where I found it though).
ROFLOL, I had missed the Sheep one. That's funny. Though I did run into Sophronia Franklin ('Hall of Herodiana' quest giver) while I was going after a Demiguise I got close to her to pick up a note and she was mumbling, "You're my second favorite hero." as she lays on one of the beds. Almost as if she could see my character while they were invisible. The map isn't always accurate outside, using Revelo while flying allows you to find unmarked places like Treasure Vaults not on the map.
#1 for reals...u can see it on the map, walked in first time I walked in. Same with #3. Those ghosts are also random, they can appear in multiple places
What about the SQUID DOOR underneath the rocks the castle is built upon?? I still haven't seen a video with someone opening up that one, unless it's for a quest I simply haven't completed yet..

At no. 3, I had found the chest in library fireplace very early in the game while completing cressida flying books side quest. But I wasn't able to access it because glacius wasn't unlocked for me then. I tried all the available spells at the time but couldn't get it.
This game has lot to offer, I am at 22 hours and seem i just scratched the surface, many hidden items, many doors, many places to visit, many treasures...
there are 3 depulso rooms the one you might be missing is in the locked corridor oposite the big doors near the history classroom and I believ it is supposed to be the second but few know about it it seems?
A side note if you cast glacius it’ll keep it there so you may open the door instead of casting arresto momentum and then hit confringo granted you have unlocked the spells.😊
Damn, i played this game too much, i found all of that with exception of that treasure under the tree and maybe those chickens. Also 5:31 this is a reference to real life alchemy… which is literally early chemistry, even with a reference to Hippocrates’s theory of four humours, as each humour was assigned to a different element out of Air, Water, Earth and Fire
In the mission to sneak into the restricted section of the library one of the books you can interact with before Peeves finds you is Secret of the Darkest Arts which is the book that tells Voldemort how to make horcruxes
#2 to answer your question treasure seeker robe is a set drop for that bell chest guaranteed
Ah good! Glad to actually be able to point people to some set treasures. This game has so much RNG!
@@SamBram agreed thanks for the great content keep it up
😍 I Love to hear that - have to get it right now 😁
Yes I've confirmed all treasure seeker items are set locations and drops set to those specific chest 100 % guaranteed
Im pretty sure that the Basilisk breeder that we find dead gets referenced in a newspaper near the beginning of thr game
Glacies works way better on the clock than Arresto Momentum. Once you done one chamber, you can unfreeze it with fire spell and continue faster on the another floor.
I think the fireplace chest is ref to The Highlander and the 3 door shop could Ref Howl's Moving Castle
It's been years since I've seen Highlander, but now you mention it I totally see it!
I've found no.1 also now thanks. I legit remember thinking the same thing when in the corridor and the scene started replaying in my head hahaha
3:35 you can use Confringo to unfreeze the Glacius spell off of the clocktower. I'm not sure if you can break the Arresto Momentum one but I've done the Glacius/Confringo one.
cool video, I spent 50hrs+ having founded nearly 50% of things included in here
I knew most of these secrets. Btw, the song you play with the Bells, that’s Hedwig’s theme from the movies
Good video! I hade already found all of them already, but it was entertaining non theless. 😀 i'm one of the few who has unlocked completely everything in the collection tab. 😅
Scooby-Doo house of 100 frights is my all time favorite childhood game
13:00 i think you have to be in certain progression in some quest to unlock the cellars? There is no prompt to enter the one by the pub 😬
I have to say I'm so close to 100% its crazy I just have field guide pages left only like 20 too so I'm super close and I was hoping this may have helped me a bit unfortunately I had already gotten everything in your video but I did find it fun to watch and thought it was a great little guide for those who haven't got them yet great work man
There is a check list with locations on Reddit
Ahh yay!! Can’t wait to find all these things!!
Have fun!
You can freeze the clock tower and then unfreeze it with the flame spell, so you do'nt have to wait.
I didn't even notice the solution of the puzzle was printed on the viaduc. I got it by pure logic :p
14:58 the lion from English football's Premier League logo 😂
Loved the "Timey-wimey" reference to Dr. Who!!!
When a game like this is still this young, I do wonder if the creators hid a whole bunch more extra stuff that is yet to be found. I sure hope so.
Thank you for mentioning Gawmp’s Law. Everyone is always like, “Wizards can’t *starve*, they can just poof food into existence.” It makes me SO. MAD.
I remember playing Scooby-Doo night of a 1000 frights, the dog barking in that section drove the family dog crazy, cause he could hear the dogs but not see them, it took us a while to figure out what he was looking for
That was Hedwig Harry’s owl ‘s theme from the HP movies
He knows
7:02 I noticed this one while flying around hogwarts on the broom, frustrated the life out of me for a sec bc my dumbass didn’t realise there was a way down lmao, if I remember right you need to light a them for the thing to turn properly
WUT?
Cheers buddy and good spoken voice
if you look by the door in the alchemy classroom, there is a merlin trial lantern standing on the table next to it.
the last one your question with the keys is all about being hidden in plain sight, anyone that would find the key would not think to try it until they find the other 3 keys, which we all know it's a waste of time.
Lol, so not overthinking it and just trying the one key, which would seem dumb, is actually a clever thing to do! Haha
@@SamBram Revelio would be proud :))
@@SamBram this video was one of the coolest and most fun i had about hogwarts legacy. congrats and keep up the great work!
Isnt it more likely made to prevent someone to enter by using Alohomora?
To my understanding, Alohomra require the caster to understand the inner working of the lock, therefore the more complex the locking system is the harder it would be to unlock it with alohomora. (gringots vault's door are among the hardest, practically impossible to breach)
For that door, as i would imagine, the caster would need to cast alohomora five time with each lock being slightly different each time and likely staying on the location for a short period (any error would reset the lock to it's starting position, if not jamming the door close).
Awesome work!!!
Glacius can just freeze the pendulum and then you can use confringo to make it move again 😊
I think there is at least 3 depulso puzzle rooms. One from the quest, the one you found (that doesn't look like the one I found) and the one I found (I don't remember where I found it though).
It's at the entrance to the Bell Tower, in the doorway on the inside. If I'm not mistaken you need Alohomora level II, just follow the corridor.
That depulso puzzle room is the 2nd of 2. Flummoxed me at 1st, too, but then I found a depulso puzzle room 1 that is not the Hall of Herodiana...
Grazie.
Grazie mille!
12:30 That's freakin' mental! Once again, something I never noticed in this game despite 3 playthroughs, one of them being 100%.
#1 for reals...u can see it on the map, walked in first time I walked in. Same with #3. Those ghosts are also random, they can appear in multiple places
The basilisk is sometimes visible on the stairs in the Slytherin room
Nope, that's the giant squid
Awesome video :)
Youre the only person ive seen play on PC
What about the SQUID DOOR underneath the rocks the castle is built upon?? I still haven't seen a video with someone opening up that one, unless it's for a quest I simply haven't completed yet..
I think its only a Slytheryn quest
use toast to give to the squid😂
The mazes guys also span randomly so when you see them go cuz you don't know when they will spawn again
awesome video - 1 slight critique.
For us new players can you insert the nearest floo location into the timestops?
There was an article about the basilisk in Hogsmeade where the person sells daily profits
For the three door shop in hogsmede they should have made the windows see through so when you walk around different doors you see different rooms
I soooooooooo can't wait til I get my game in May. ^^
I'll be coming back to your video to help me with certain part's. ^^
Anyone else here getting their HL game in May and if so what's your pre-order.
Mine is the Physical Deluxe Edition for PS4. So many digital goodies. ^^
Thems be fighting words about my sweet Mirabel Garlick.
You can LUMOS away the devils snare?!
What have you been using mate?
@@sollyfan I went with the Harry Potter books and used fire! Light was only a movie thing, so I didn’t even consider it haha
Great tips thanks.
In the clock tower, you can cast glacias and it won't unfreeze until you cast confringo so you can have as much time as you need
The wilful ignorance and arrogance it takes for the wizarding world to be so oblivious of the mundane world is staggering.
there are 3 depulso rooms the one you might be missing is in the locked corridor oposite the big doors near the history classroom and I believ it is supposed to be the second but few know about it it seems?
Use glacius on the clock tower, instant standstill and any of the fire making spells with cause it to move again immediately :)
Depulso room number 2 took me so long to figure out. It definitely is WAY harder then the other one. Not sure id wanna do again lmao.
The secret chess game where you have to turn a chair into a chess piece.
Man!! you made my day.. I am off now to Hogwarts via the secret train
That clock tower secret took so long for me to figure out, it’s embarrassing 😅
Professor Binns doesn’t know he’s dead
The store that changes It's a complete Revelation to me. I think I might have accidentally entered two of them, but definitely not the three
very nice vid, thank you.
A side note if you cast glacius it’ll keep it there so you may open the door instead of casting arresto momentum and then hit confringo granted you have unlocked the spells.😊
For the clock pendulum u can also freeze it with glacius makes it easier.
Damn, i played this game too much, i found all of that with exception of that treasure under the tree and maybe those chickens. Oh yeah i skipped all that conversation about the sheep, i just went thru the door and then go back to my business. There is also prison of Askaban secret but only available to specific school.
I'm just gettin' into the game. But I cracked up after the two male ghosts went dancin' afterward (~14:27). ("What a handsome couple we make.")
How do u guys ever find everything? This video amazed me. I'm just in Aw with u. I'm a new subscriber. Tc have a wonderful day
17:09 HE SAID IT, HE SAID IT !!
