I don't know why but I always feel attraction about ancient Parsi culture. There are so many similar rituals performed in both Parsi and Hindu religion. Sanskrit and Avesta has lot of similar words. Parsis had great contribution in India's progress. It is believed by Historian and scholars that Parsis and Hindu have same Aryan Vedic cultural history. Respect from India 🙏
Zoroastrians in Iran aren't Parsi, Parsi are a different Iranian descended community just in India. and Parsi are even a bit different from Iranian Zoroastrians. For example people think outsiders cannot become Zoroastrian, that's not true. You can't join the Parsi community and they won't accept a convert, but actual Orthodox Zoroastrianism totally accepts converts and encourages it many time in the Gathas and Avestas. So Iranian Zoroastrians are accepting of converts. The Parsi have also adopted many Indian and Hindu cultures into their own.
Mazdayasni, is the actual term for a Zoroastrian.
Parsi in our language in Afghanistan Parsi is not religion

Do Zoroastrian women in Iran wear veils all the time or just during prayer/pilgrimage?
Zoroastrian women arent required to wear veils, it is the law in Iran for all women to wear the jijab etc
I'm not an expert and I'm not Zoroastrian, but I have seen that Zoroastrian women sometimes take off their veils when they are among other Zoroastrians.
It seems like it's only because of the Islamic Republic's laws that they are forced to wear veils or face prison time.

i finally understood what parsi religion is i always thought they are muslims like shia but i understood thanks for your sweat and short story about the king daugher how that all thing happened as i am seeing a documentary on gandhi family of india feroz khan gandhy was also parsi unfortunately hindu bhakts think him as mulims its hearbreaking that a parsi man who did so much to this country india is lost in hindu muslim debates and riots. and you said its a mecca or jerusalam of parsis but accept you no one is there. i think slowly this sight of you will disappear as the time passes as your religion followers are disappearing i also heard that parsi only marry parsi and second problem is that no one can convert to parsi religion now this generation says that narrow minded Zorastrian are not having place in todays world parsis whose childrens married to other religious people are looked down by parsi community here also a twist by your religion it says looking down on people who married outside the religion. change
