Man, Big E was a beast! In all phases of the game, offense, defense, special teams, the Cowboys of the 90s were almost superhuman. No team in football before or after was so fun to watch.
As great as Reggie White was, it was well known that Erick Williams pretty much had his way with him, until he injured his knee in a car accident in 1994. He was never the same, after that, but he was still good.
+MK Dallas Erick Williams was the best tackle in the NFL before that car accident. Larry Allen replaced Williams that first year, then moved to guard and became the most dominate guard in the NFL.
Players that played against Big E before and after his accident including Reggie White have said that what Big E lost in physical ability he made up for by playing meaner and more physical than before and that they would rather he didn't have that accident because if you didn't want to play against him before you sure didn't want to play against him after

I wish Jason Garrett would be watching this......a lot. The Cowboys O-line should all be a minimum of 6'6 and 330 lbs. I'd go to the Strong Man competitions and get a couple of those guys for Offensive tackles. They'd be perfect.

+HildaT almost all the players he was opposing on game day were 50 to 70 pounds heavier. He got by with his excellent technique and smarts...that was truly a great group...

Sorry it's just that I'm not good with phrasal verbs :(

Aikman said it correctly that they could have gone 5 in a row if Jimmy Johnson didnt leave. Jones wanting to take control more of the team instead of just being the owner is what made it collapse and also is what made Jimmy Johnson leave. The Patriots owner has not made that mistake with belichick, and belichick is still the coach and GM for that team. Reason why Patriots have been so dominate for so long and the cowboys were not.
