Great idea Tommo. I like to see the whole thing evolving and its given me a few decent ideas for mine too. Those poles really give it some shape and support.
@@fat_tommo_goes_boating That Laser 16 is a decent boat. A lot faster than the Lugger and self draining too. WOuld you be able to right her if capsized? The Lugger I think I could but she would be swamped.
Perfect job, you'll refine it as you use it. Tight lines fishing 👍
Thanks. I hope the Cornish weather is kind to you at the moment Phil.

Thanks Dave. I'm thinking of going to look at a lugger for sale this weekend but not sure
@@fat_tommo_goes_boating Oh really? well it will be a bit slower than the shakespear but a lot of fun to sail.
@SailingWithDave yes I know it would be. I might go and get my laser 16 back, it's currently with a mate in Cornwall sailing around Falmouth.

@SailingWithDave no, I can't right her, it's a case of reef early and be very cautious.
But the lugger would motor better and is deeper inside
Just the job! 👍 sit out there of an evening.
It's better than nothing 😊
Not a bad solution. Poppers on the top of the screen rail would be good cos you could still see out
Maybe, I'm gonna see how it works as it is then go from there
Perfect that Tommo, or you could get a boat with a roof 🤣
I could just use one if you're fleet 🤣
@@fat_tommo_goes_boating it’s only a small fleet but your more than welcome 😎
