Did the restoration cost more than buying a good similar boat? I don't mean to be rude but I have a cuddy cabin and want to transform it to an open bow. Is it better for me to sell it and buy a ready boat or is it better to do the work myself and make the transformation? I'm handy with projects but I wonder which way is more cost effective.
Lol I'd choose another hobby if your shy about spending money 😊joking aside you do it to fit your own needs and part of the journey, but your probley correct it's not a viable business but no fishing boat is cheap

i used about 600 hours. i have about 100 hours ekstra this summer sandblasting the buttom and putting new epoxy.

The total cost for the restoration was 24k with the whole setup and 800 hours of hard work:-)

Them bow thrusters are sweet!!
The wood have 7 layers off west system epoxy resin and 1 final layer with fibreglass with epoxy resin so i think it will be fine😁
