Hello Quady. Believe me this is positive and a description of the joy and laughter I get from your videos. I am an old lady, soon to be 71. You can out “old lady” me. I absolutely love how fussy you are in keeping your floor clean, taking off dirty shoes, being particular of where you put things, keeping things clean and organized, etc. It makes me smile. Am I the only one that see this? Also, you have been a huge influence on my solo truck camping and how I set up my truck. I love solo camping in my truck. Have a beautiful day.
I have Definitely noticed That he is Very Careful about keeping his truck And actually everything that we see neat, clean and orderly. That's what I like most about his channel... I watch maverick once in a while and it drives me crazy to watch him because he is such A messy person his truck is always messy. Computing I would choose mike's channel anytime.
Yes!!!! I agree! I am a tidy person and I enjoy seeing other people being the same way. To many people now days are lazy and leads to having a messy unorganized lifestyles. But each to their own I suppose.
🤣 My wife got a kick out of this comment! I want to keep my truck nice and not have it all nasty! Thanks for watching!
Phew. I’m glad you see the “spirit” of my comment. I did not want to offend you or anyone. Watching you do you is fun.
Those are kinda dangerous 😮!
I've always heard that a single candle can save you in extreme cold with no electricity or gas.
I can honestly say the candle saying is True !!!
You made that WAY harder than it had to be. I’ve made many of these clay pot heaters and I’ve NEVER seen it done the way you did it.
RESEARCH is highly recommended.
Hell ya man. Excited, kinda still going through withdrawals with the new schedule 😂 Cheers 🍻
Same!! I’ve been watching old videos 😂
Yeah, I'm constantly check to.see if Mikes put out a new vid.
You should’ve covered the hole on top cuz it would’ve made the pot actually build heat and radiate it around
Two weeks is way to long brother but happy you posted another vid...hope all is well
All good
Just wen I was giving up finding anything gd to watch u pop and save the day 😂
I love your voice, carry on talking and camping. Kerp safe and warm.
Ps. No snow here in UK, just wind and rain 😑
I've used the candle method before. It works better with a 3 wick candle or 3 tea candles.
The noodles are usually made with just the EGG YOLK, not the whole egg. 😂
I really enjoy your channel.

Thanks 🤣😂🤣
Great tip! Thanks for watching!
Hmmm ok I forgot the part leaving airway at the bottom thank God I had a extra flower pot I broke it up with a hammer and used 4 pieces to create a air space. It really worked well it would have been even better if I didn't have to break up the other pot.
Clay pots get hot enough they can break & or explode. I was covering my eyes not gonna lie waiting for it 😂 cheers from Wisconsin ❤
Use tea lights
Longer in between videos but getting longer videos like, totally worth it!
Thanks for watching!
You know , the easy way to make one of those heaters is to take a regular flower pot that is the same diameter as the inside of your lower base and just lift up the bottom edges of the upper, upside down pot with wood or something blocks about the size of shotgun shells that raise the top part of the upper pot about an inch or 3 above your candle flame. You can light the flame and put the top on and leave it alone. Obviously, you can refine the design by using more candles, putting grooves in the top of the supports for stability, etc. The good part of these "heaters" is that they retain pretty steady heat as long as the flame is burning. Best of all, it's cheap and the flame is kind of shielded if you have kids or dogs or loose papers.
Use a tomato support cage, turn it upside down, and snip off the top narrow part. Then bend the wires back down to help support the top flower pot. You can get bigger candles with three or four wicks in them. Next time, try a popcorn tin with the big candle, and prop open the lid a little. The tin will get HOT so have a large ceramic floor tile to put it on.
Tomato cage is first thing I thought of.
As always, Mike, your video is great worth the wait 😊 Was awesome watching you put together heater 😂 Thanks for braving the cold for us looking forward to the next adventure!!
I bet your wife shakes her head at you!! In a good way lol!!❤❤
🤣
Glad you enjoyed it
Mike you should invest in a diesel heater for your truck camping in the winter runs off 12v battery which you could probably get a separate battery from your vehicle battery to use with it.
Yay loving the truck winter camping quady
Enjoy!
@@CrazyQuady you enjoying the one video a week longer video format I am
Welcome back Quady!! I missed your videos glad your doing well
Hey, thanks!
Looks like a relaxing evening. We’ve had some crazy weather here in Michigan too.
As a person who practices preparedness, this design does work to some extent. Like you said, a small area. I buy wedding candle center pieces in bulk bcuz they are designed to burn 12-20 hours. You should also try the fuel additive "heet". It burns well, odorless. But also you can't see the flame. Be careful with this practice, but it does work
Kinda late but, but you know when you get cattering and the can flame they use to keep food warm under the pans...would those work or is it not safe enough like small candles?
@@lizcoz4714 I'm not sure how long those are designed to burn. But you can get those camping fuel cannisters like from coleman or bio fuel. They are like a gel almost and burn for awhile.
@@SWprepardness thank you!!
@@lizcoz4714They’re only meant to burn for like 4-6 hours and they don’t really put off heat. Those are meant to heat water up that’s under the pans of food to keep the food warm. I guess if you had a lot of them itd work but there are better alternatives
@@clbhrrn thank you!
Thanks for doing the flower pot heater. I waa wondering how it would work!!
Welcome back...
Thanks for watching!
Great video and definitely worth the wait. You need to make sure you stay safe, like you did last week. You are always worth the wait.
Been waiting for this all week!! Thank you CrazyQ. Keep it up brother. Can’t wait to see the wheels and tires and level???? I just ordered my leveling kit and getting new tires next week on my factory STX 20s I have a 2019 150

Love you Mike nice to have something to watch. Missed you hope you are having fun.
Thanks for watching!
I’m very glad I found your channel I subscribed about a month ago and have actually learned a bit from you on how your set up is
I missed you last week but I think you made the right call. It could have been very dangerous for you to be stuck in weather like that.
We got dumped on in northern illinois as well! 13 inches then super cold right after that like -30 for a week straight. Then ice rain and now fog and rain. Weather been crazy to say the least but ill take above freezeing for a 10 day. Always enjoy your uploads friend, stay well! 😊
❤❤Was wondering this morning why id hadnt seen a video lately. Yep we had the same temps here. It was -30° last week with ice and snow and this week rainy and foggy and next week in the 60's. Crazy winter for sure ..stay warm.🥴🥶💖 💕
Food looked good, I will try that recipe. Nice video Mike.
Missed seeing your posts been awhile, glad I found you again
Hey Mike, it's good to see another video, you said you had some deep snow and could you got stuck in it a couple of weeks, but I'm glad you didn't get stuck my friend stay at home
Hey Quady, it was good to see you again! I’ve been wondering about that candle pot thing. I had a feeling you’d try it. I’m visiting Scottsdale Az. 60 degrees. Woohoo. Beats the bitter cold we’d been having in Michigan. Alas, we’re going back home on Saturday! Your videos are always fun and I look forward to them!
The new schedule got me jonesn for your vids! Glad to see you again Quady
Hope you enjoy!
Good to see you! Missed you dude!
that was very good Mike, I really enjoyed it with the candle heater and the good food plus the movie 👍
Thanks for watching!
Interesting to see that heat source, I've seen it but never tried. Something to think about, awesome video 👏👏
Happy New Year Quady😊, love the longer format ❤🎉😊
Same to you! Thanks for watching!
If I want creamy ramen I make it with butter and milk. Never thought of doing it with mayo and egg. It’s interesting for sure. Glad you posted another great video!
Thank you for the content and the inspiration to start creating my own channel . Again ty so much.
I have miss you welcome back. That ramen looks delicious. That area looks beautiful
Thanks for watching!
Old style is big in Chicago, love it!
Interesting 'warming device', food looked tasty and definitely hitting the spot, top-notch movie choice, - CrazyQuady, once again, with an awesome winter video! Cheers, Mike!
I’m definitely gonna try that. Thank you for sharing your video.👍
Great video...as always!! Loved seeing the snow and the candle heater was awesome. We make ramen when we're camping and put in the whole egg and also put in a bag of frozen vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, peas) to give it alittle more oomph.....
Awesome video!
Awesome video loving the longer video x get the curtains up. 💙
Thanks for watching!
Hey Mike
Always Enjoy Your Winter Camping Videos .. 👍
Thanks for watching!
So glad to have you back at last, but safety first always. We will wait for you. There are shorter fatter candles that come with 3 wicks. That might work well. I would throw some curry powder in that ramen cause I am a curry lover from way back. That's funny, I just watched The Blues Brothers the other night. Hadn't seen it in years.
I've tried the flower pot heater and a smaller gap at the bottom and a bigger round candle with 3 or 4 wicks to get more flame emitting more heat...also instead of the wire framework I super glued some large washers together to elevate the pot in 5 spots...much more stable and bent a coat hanger to go through the top like a lantern handle works in a survival situation to warm the hands and boost morale but wouldn't necessarily use it for primary heat source...love the videos and look forward to them 👍
I would almost think if you took the smallest diameter rebar and welded together a little framework to hold that flower pot sturdy. Then ran a bunch of that thin wire all around it. You could create a lot more heat 👍🏻🇺🇲
Love Old Style!!!
Love your vids buddy, look forward to them all the time. Keep it real and you cannot lose. Julie, from Down Under❤️
Excellent video. Yes, three or four candles might help with the heat in your terra cotta heater. I figured the weather prevented you from camping last week, but I didn’t realize they shut the campgrounds down. No worries, I don’t expect anything from you, I’m just glad when I see a video from you come out. Keep on keepin’ on…
I love your videos ! I clicked on it right when it pops up. ❤🇨🇦❤️
You're the best!
Glad ur back, have missed ur videos. Sat here in the UK with a cuppa and enjoying the video. Ty for entertaining us x
Thanks for watching!
Happy camping. Happy winter. Sandy from😂 Delaware
Missed you. The new schedule is killing me. So glad to see this tonight. Stay safe.
Thanks for watching!
Great video brother. I did the candles pot heater once in a 9x9 tent and it did ok only heat I had and it got down to 20 degrees that night. Much love from southern Indiana.
Thanks for another great video, there are 3 to 4 wick candle 🕯️ you can try. on to the next adventure ❤
Nice to see you back out doing some camping. Your terra cotta heater is never going to give you a ton of heat but next time try a single candle with 3 wicks. I’m sure you can find something else to prop up the planter a little better as well
Hey Quady man, great video! Glad to see you out again. Been missing the old schedule for sure. But I hope the new schedule is working good for you. That's the first time I've seen creamy ramen. I wonder if you cooked the egg first and then add it to the ramen?I don't know but I'm gonna have to give that a shot it looked really tasty. Enjoyed watching the adventure and looking forward to the next one. Have a great weekend man!
Love love your videos!
Love that you love history, the dinners, the cozy cab! All of it.
Not sure if you like comedy, but "A Million Ways to Die in the West" freakin funny.!
See you soon on the utube!!!!
Thanks for watching!
I love your smile when you talk to the camera
This guy's awesome, I love his videos
Been waiting for you to post happy to see you
I too tried a flower pot, tea candle heater once. Once.
Good to see you again!
Welcome back!
You can set that pan on top of that terra-cotta pot to cook the egg a little bit more or to keep your food warm.
Like always amazing to see you're amazing video Ouady
Love this one!
Love and peace from Australia as always 🦘😘😘
Thanks Ellie!
Stay warm brothaaaaaa !
Finally the waiting is over. Thank you very much.
Thanks for watching!
Watching from Trinidad & Tobago. Enjoy the adventures and rainy weather.. Looks cozy & fun . Always watch your channel.... Fun & adventure always...
Awesome! Thank you!
Norway Rocks!!
Ya I think the rows if lights above the side windows should help, similar to your old truck's setup.
Truly enjoyed the video Quady. I eat a lot of roman. I have learned do not use a lot of water don't make it soupy and then it'll end up cooking it'll be creamy with the the seasoning. But I bet you anything if you like you can buy can of just regular chicken and you crumble that up in there I bet that would really be good. The salmon I'm going to try it the salmon on the cracker even salmon and that. I tried some of the stuff that you put on here. I didn't care for was the chili with the macaroni and cheese I didn't care for that but everything else is pretty good. Stay warm stay safe and see you on the next video.
Get some reflectix for the window's, then curtains over it.. Reflect your heat back into you.
You can also use insulation board to put around the sides, top and bottom. Could even cut some to fit the windows.
We use insulation board in the RV and insulated curtains, too. Works great.
Welcome back dude!
Hell yea! Was getting a little worried on this late update😂
Thanks for watching!
I was wondering about ya last Thursday! Another dope video!
Guess I’ll be picking up a 1988 pontiac Fiero soon.. might be an interesting one to attempt a camp video in.. imagine camping in a 2 seater 😂
😂
Mike you could use that candle set up to cook with too
Not too shabby
Miss ya Quady!!!
Alright Quady,let's gooo
OH HELL YEAH... glad you are back brother. 😂
Thanks for watching!
I used a couple Crisco candies in metal cans to warm my living room in the morning. It takes the chill off.
Glad to see you again. What you could use is a 3 wick candle should put out more heat.
Good idea!
I have made those, except I use about 15 tea lights inside it. That works well.
Minced garlic ftw. Interesting dinner. I don't know about that ramen tho... Glad you stayed reasonably warm
Try using a propane stove on low then put the pot on top.
Or you can try making a Crisco candle and set the pot on top of whatever you pour your candle into, glass jar, old can of beans, ect.
I always hit up QTs theyre the only ones with dukes lol and i have a hoard of tiny Tabasco bottles just chuck in purse and old styles...youre a man after my heart.
That's kind of cool candle 🕯️
We got cold temperatures here in Oklahoma but we only got
a couple days of icy weather but no snow however.🤠☕👋
Awesome video!! 👌
Thanks!
I think shrimp and scallops would be nice in that ! Nice video, thanks for sharing sharing ❤ watching from Canada 🇨🇦
Mike, good seeing you man. Love the new truck set up. Too bad the van wouldnt fit on the old camper truck's chassis....that would be sick! 🤔 lol
Anyway, stay safe and looking forward to your future vids.
Thanks for watching!
