Soul was a effn great Pixar movie that my son my wife and I all enjoyed and to have one of my favorite all time artists work on the score was a definite treat! I was 9yo when my two older brothers introduced me to Downward Spiral and that album changed my life and hasn't tarnished one bit over time! Keep it up Trent you're and inspiration to us all!
“Soul” is outstanding. One of my fave soundtracks ever. Covid wasn’t that bad for me…bc I hurt my spine & can’t work anyway, & I was already home alone mostly, raising my young daughter. So, it didn’t really effect me negatively.
I love all 3 of them!!! However, I found the location and was on location for NIN I think first album in a few years, and when Mr Reznor came up to me and said " so, you found this location" and I said yes and he said "cool".... I almost fainted.
Something more than the Oscar moved Atticus to speak so much and so profoundly. I think it might have had something to do with recent world events, especially what's going on in London

Having said that, I am somewhat beleaguered at how Batiste failed to mention his cronies Reznor & Ross who graciously stood behind him on stage. A mere 10 seconds or even less would've sufficed for Batiste to do the right thing by R&R. Albeit, they did all seem happy though so its still a glorious triumph. 🕯🌹🕯
