timothée and monica’s onscreen chemistry is undeniable when watching this film and their voices sound so beautiful when they sing together during their joint preformances in the movie, just like the real bob and joan. “it ain’t me, babe” is definitely one of my most favorite songs on the soundtrack.
One of the best scenes in the movie! Also loved The Times They Are A-Changing, the studio sessions for Highway 61, Newport’65 sequence, and Sylvie’s last scene, which broke my heart into a million pieces. Great movie y’all.
When they - and particularly she - leans in to begin It Ain’t Me Babe in earnest, the chemistry literally explodes forth. And Elle dying a thousand deaths while watching is Oscar worthy.
So glad Monica Barbaro is on her path to stardom, she was excellent in Top Gun Maverick even in a smaller supporting role and I’ve heard rave reviews about her performance in A Complete Unknown
I loved EF and Monica opposite Timothee in this film. I was totally entertained to the extent of my memories of that period made me cry a bit as I watched. War is horrific, the threats we live under, what other nations must endure of late makes me identify with war protectors of the 60s. Timothee on a motorcycle without a guitar encapsulates the depth of his character and my own. We all want to blow in the wind don't we?
I saw the film last night and im crazy or was there one scene in the film that they left a blooper take in the film during the studio recording scene or was it just bob dylan messing around
Monica and Timothée are amazing together. As if they are made for each other. Maybe I am biased but I don't think I've ever seen two people more fit for each other. They should get married now.
I watched this film on Xmas alone in a theatre half full of people. I laughed and I cried. Loved every minute. One thing I didn't care for was at the end ... having to read the words on the theatre screen.
why is James Mangold not mentioned in the title? Have some respect lol
titles have a text limitation, it would be too long
More clicks is better for James - he gets it
@@TrentFilmssthey had 4 names in there but his they could have fitted it in

Love this movie! Their chemistry was off the charts and all the actors were so so so awesome (esp Timmy)

Also the bookends with Woody Guthrie. Ok, this movie is just filled with highlights!
They have such amazing chemistry on screen
Monica is such a beautiful actress ❤
This movie is sooo good, that it got a standing ovation at the end
I lived this period of time. Amazing
Monica Barbaro made a NAME for herself in this film. She was OUTSTANDING! Good tings to come for this gal!
Top gun maverick. Hello
She deserves the best supporting actress Oscar
@@hkaayaakuuBoth of the films are propelling her forward I believe.

ok now can we get monica in a joan biopic?
Have you seen the movie? They kind of share the movie like how they shared the stage. I guess it's technically Bob's movie but it had a lot of Joan.
Such a great cast and film! James is a excellent director, and Timothee and Monica are extremely talented actors!

Joaquin and Reese did It Ain’t Me Babe in Walk the Line too!!
Just saw this movie earlier tonight and I loved it!
Any academy members here? Nominate Monica for Best Supporting Actress Oscar.
Brilliant performances...and Mangold did such a great job directing.
happy 29th b-day Timothee! 🎉

well this escalated quickly lmao
Great movie
Love it
Why does Timothee look like Ness from Earthbound?
Mon❤
Stellar cast,, hope it shows in HBO MAX soon
I’m soooo glad that Monica didn’t replicate Joan Baez’ vibrato. I can’t listen to Joan because of that 😐
She'd got a kind of a resemblance to Timothee:s arranged hollywood romantic partner

reading the credits? why did that bother you?
@travis6694 oh, not the credits. Before that there were words re: what Dylan went on to do.
She cute but looks nothing like Joan.
Kylie looks like Monica Barbaro
I'm so confused. I swear Timothee has been saying out Christmas day, but apparently not.
In the US yes. Maybe not if you’re in another country
