Guilty of Treeson and Seattle Tree Care Clean Up Competitors DISASTER!

- Guilty of Treeson and Seattle Tree Care join forces to tackle an owners unfortunate chain of events. When Jake of GoT and Peter of STC bid on the same job, neither of them initially were picked to do the job. The owner quickly discovers that cheapest isnt always the best and ultimately resulted in Jake and Peter doing the job anyway.
For the first time since the UW job, Guilty of Treeson and Seattle Tree Care are together again to tackle another project. The camradarie between these two can't be missed as they talk about everything from angle cuts to chainsaws before taking down what was left over from a disasterous experience for the home owner. - บันเทิง
No way, Peter, is that Sondre from Norway on your crew?!
That guy's a cool cat but no...he just watched us that day. Tourist visa style.
@@SeattleTreeCare for anobady interested sandres chanal is the fjord feller.
I knew a gunsmith who would say "if you think I'm expensive, try paying a cheap guy"
Harborview isn't just our local hospital, it's where you get sent if you're *really* messed up! 😰 It's the only level 1 trauma center in the state. I hope that guy has a good recovery!
It's also home to our local mentally ill ward. The people that work in that hospital are super heros.
@@SeattleTreeCare as my mind fades away I see the value in these people and hope there well takin care of Peter….its my birthday and I’m as Debra’s a man can get
Depressed
It is great to see the care and planning taken by Peter , Jake and this awesome crew.
Great job. Most folks don't realize how important it is to have the proper equipment and guys who know how to use it safely and are cognizant of each other. And, the music in the video is really great!
Great point and glad you dig it.
Agreed- full wrap bars are a poor choice for treework.
That shows that Seattle tree care had bid it according to the job that it was, and all that it entailed. Sometimes the price is equal to the difficult process. It is to remove dangerous trees. Great work!
Well put. And bidding a job like this is no small feat in itself. The pros that come out and bid these jobs have so many different factors to take into consideration that might not be apparent at first glance. Thanks for watching!!
Bless There're times when experienced & good quality people are needed. And money shouldn't be an issue.
Good to see you again! Thanks for your continued support!
Between Siberian elms and Fremont/Rio Grande cottonwoods I use a metal detector and axe/adze to find fence remnants before using a saw. Popping bark off usually shows the telltales of steel.
Nice workflow and pro tip! Thanks for watching!
The editing and quality on these vids has gone up 1000%, Lovin the vids Jake, would be an absolute dream to come to America and work with u lads
Appreciate the compliment. This wasn’t actually a Guilty of Treeson edit, this is one of ours. If you liked this one you should check out our other videos.
Hey guys, I applied for an arborist apprenticeship and passed the initial tests, so I'm starting to look into the career. I hope it works out for the best, love watching the video.
Are you in the Seattle area? We are hiring!
Came for Jacob, enjoyed the show so subscribed.
You should check out our other videos. Our videographer worked with Jake before coming over to us.
I find it so cool that Peter as the owner has the time to do the treework himself. He also does the estimates?
He does from time to time but we have project managers in the field taking care of most of them.
Sometimes paying the higher prices is the lesser of the headache.
Good hob guys 😉👍
Thanks 👍
Great job everyone! Good times!!!
so good to see guilty by treeson again with jacob. thanks much.
Jake is great! Not only is he really knowledgable but also a ton of fun to work with! #guiltyoftreeson
This is the BEST SHOW on TH-cam brother!!!!! Yeaaaaaahhhh
I think it's time to expand my TH-cam viewing. I'm a retired climber, and been watching Guilty for years now. Any friend of Jake's must be worth watching, so here I go.
Jake has worked with us a few times and before filming with us, our videographer John, was filming Guilty when he had his previous channel. Welcome to the channel! You’ve got a lot of catching up to do.
Excellent workers with their machines
I’m trying to study for my ISA then this popped up……. It will wait till after this video 🤣
Much respect from the uk 🏴
The boss is one positive guy, seems like he would be a great guy to work for.
Peter is not only an amazing arborist but yes, a very positive and great guy to work with.
Enjoyed the video. Some massive spars there. Hope you all like sharpening chains. Great job.
Thanks 👍 Make sure to check out our other videos...there is a ton of content we've done between this video and the last one we did with Jake!
$40 a gal is a lot cheaper then the fine from the DEC when the Karen down stream calls in a complaint
Or when the EPA decides to make a surprise visit.
how jakob is everywhere and collects video material XD
Because he’s an android with weak ankles.
awesome job. great video
Thanks for the visit! Make sure to subscribe! We have tons of good stuff!
You guys are good! Cool working next to the creek for the day...
Thank you. Personally I think the best part of this job is the scenery we get to see.
@@SeattleTreeCare it’s definitely the best part
Great Work 👍
Thanks! Stick around and check out our other videos.
Dang that’s a prettty big flex with the bio degradable bar oil. Making me feel like tree trash over here using oil from my last car oil change. 😂
At least you’re recycling. 😀
The problem with that is that sort of oil can stain rocks and stone. So if your work near stone patios or walkways maybe it's a bad idea.
You’re just nasty. That cheap?
@@mikedeck8381 Good info! Thanks for watching!
@@mikedeck8381 lol don’t worry that special move can only be used in tight situations 😉 😝
Great video!
Glad you liked it. Check out the ones youve missed. You wont be disappointed.
What a crew & spot to work. Great job
It was fun to have Jake with us again...we need to get him out more often.
@@SeattleTreeCare for sure. That would be great
Wonder how those high $ carbide tipped chains do hittin metal on trees…? Man I hit the floor when i saw price on 1 yrs back..
Wow you guys are true professionals keep up the good work
Thank you! We try.
Peter is fricken sick. #1 tree business owner right there. Guy is 💯 legit.
He’s a machine!
Great vid fullas. Some nice tunes'
Thanks 👍
Nice use of cartoon graphics on the previous job predicaments up front. I was 🤣! Glad you guys take safety seriously. With big/bigger machines you have to. Ireckon if you have a handheld beeping metal detector, it would find buried metal in trees much easier and quicker.
Thanks 👍 i was cracking up myself when putting it together.
i remember doing a job like that years ago the chap i was working for wanted me to barrow all the timber up a hill to load his trailer once he had gone with his full trailer i pushed all the big ones in the river an they floated away saved me a ton of work lol
I’m picturing some old man downriver from you thinking the beavers sure could chop wood cleanly when he saw them bobbing by.
@@SeattleTreeCare i nearly fell in i was laughing so much
Bel lavoro complimenti! Bellissimo il ditch wicth con la pinza!ho visto che anche qui in italia c'e' il sito dicth witch, pero' sono applicazioni per lavori tipo scavi trivellazioni frantumazioni rocce...con la pinza nn l'ho visto. Ciao💪👍
The Ditch Witch is a great tool! Check out the video we did on Lake Washington using it and a boat! Thanks for watching!
amazing video
Thanks!
Peter, ever try soybean oil for bar oil? For me it's been working well, it's food grade, and it's under $10 a gallon.
I'll ask him!
Gave you a sub from Upstate New York
Welcome to the channel. Make sure to check out our past videos...there is a lot of good stuff back there.
Suns out, guns out! Looks like JR has been building some muscle on the carnivore diet!
I thought the same thing. It was the first time seeing Jake in person since 2021. Dude used to be so scrawny. He still has weak ankles though. Oh and he’s allergic to pollen.
@@SeattleTreeCare I heard eating local honey can help with that, but I'm not sure that's the kind of thing someone on a carnivore diet can do. Looks like his greatest strength is also his greatest weakness!
Easy to see that was a difficult job. With the trees so close to the building, fat , heavy, little room to move around in. It would be hard to find a harder job.
Take a look at the video we did titled 5 Towering Douglas Firs in 20 minutes. Trees were just as close and we added a crane to the mix. Thanks for watching! Dont forget to subscribe!
Is it maybe a good investment to get an metaldetector?
Wouldn't be a bad idea to have one. Thanks for watching!

Dennis Quaid has a side gig?
Boy man needed regs little ratchet pusher deal here….did those ever get mass produced..?
"this tree is my recital ..."
"I'm gonna use the 50" bar, it's a turbo 350 cc, electric start with twin cup holders" Maybe Guilty says that one day
Haha! I’ll pass on the request!
Gergaji mesin nya cukup banyak😮👍💪
You dont want to eat anything?
Please consider using a mechanical wedge like we do in germany. Its just a lot easier and without smashing your shoulder.
Good info. Thanks!
What the hell, and who is the singer in the song as you felled the stump
That was a friend of ours, his name is Jordan. He can belt it out. Thanks for watching!
Where can I see the source video from 2:54??
What in particular are you looking for?
@@SeattleTreeCare that second short clip where it shows the massive top knocking over the stem of the tree with a climber still in it? Says Dan Toc TH-cam?
Oh! I just searched for fails and clipped it. Thats why I credit'd the channel.
What's the song Jake
Which song? Jake doesn't really monitor the comments on our channel. I used a couple different tracks in this one. Thanks for watching! Dont forget to subscribe!
It's the song when Jake is cutting the small butt log in the beginning so the ground men have something to do while you and Jake climb
We have to use the bio degradable oil for wood we cut in wood yard for BBQ restaurant, 3309 Gulf bch hwy, Pensacola Florida
Seattle Tree Care - Seattle Washington - Send BBQ!
Rickyyyyyyyyyyy
Do you guys get pricked by needles?
Only when we have to sew our chainsaw chaps. Thanks for watching.
Wonder if the guys gonna have problems with the ground moving and affecting the house now the trees are gone. No wonder they grew so big, all the water they ever needed from the creek…
That’s why it’s $40 cause it’s good for the environment and most people can’t afford to use it…….
Long live the 660 and 395
Heyy Sondre!
I’ve got you guys on LinkedIn as well. Great job! Real pros. And always good to see Jacob get to use his 88. 😂
Appreciate it!!
What the intro song name?
The intro song was a mash up of Jake’s intro and ours.
Didn’t you flip a crane lol
No we’ve never flipped a crane.
Are you for real talking bad about somebody else's work 😮 you haven't made mistakes
There's mistakes and there's not wearing safety equipment, knocking out the local power, and leaving the job unfinished. I think that's pretty solid grounds to criticize it
All I heard was him explaining what occurred that resulted in us being called. I didn’t hear him say any names as to who the other company was, he just simply stated the facts as they happened.
Sondre - a Norwegian name for sure
You mean the blond hair and blue eyes didnt give it away? xD
