Lake City Hazard
มุมมอง 2.6K21 วันที่ผ่านมา
Day one had our Arborists stumped with an injury that took Emerson out of commission and a mechanical failure on the bucket that required repair. Day two finds Russell back up in the canopy taking on this cursed poplar with the help of Keaton, Wallace, Ricky and Nick. Even with a full crew the team was unable to knock this tree down and so the big guns were called in. Three days into this proje...
Accident on the Job

When Russell, Banks, Arnie and Emerson arrive onsite for this project, they got more than they bargined for. On one of the busiest residential side roads in Lake City stood a giant poplar that was notorious for dropping branches on the home below. The owners decided it was time to remove the tree before one of their children were injured. Seattle Tree Care arrived in force ready to take on the ...
Touring the Yard with Crew Lead Mike

Mike takes us on a tour of the Seattle Tree Care yard and we discuss a job we did earlier this year. Mike is on light duty for a couple weeks and has been helping operations with the day to day around the yard. It gave us a chance to chat with him about a job we did in White Center where he took on a locust embedded with power lines. Hear first hand what goes into the day to day and some of his...

Tem vaga de trabalho para um brasileiro ai com vocês?
Not really in the ideal environment for growing that species, but it appeared to be very healthy.
You wanna get west coast dawgs on that saw 👍
Hi, I just watched your fresh video with Jacob and Randy and had a look at a few videos on your channel. Peter, you are a good boss, I like your work mentality: what have we learned, what could be have done better or how? That is cool. I am not tree-work certified but it seems to me that at 4:40 and 5:04 the clips should be facing down (like at 14:19), right? ;) Cheers from Switzerland :)
Peter, looks like the video of you and Guilty posted. Dude, you drove that crane way out to that job site! I bet that ride was fun up and down hills and through the twisties. Great job.
Oh yeah! That was a long drive but what a fun proj with Guilty and Randy🤘 To the cars that got behind me going up the pass please forgive me. I’m sorry.
Looks like three people couldn’t read the no parking signs. Situations like that make your job so much harder! Good job trying to protect them with the plywood.
What a mess! Good job guys
Selalu berhati hati teman👍💪🌲
Great job Peter and crew. Good size job!! Three trucks going at the same time, people walking around, cars parked on the road, obstacles to miss all over the place! 👏
Thanks Veteran Tree🤘 This was a fun proj and the crew really crushed it.
Keep working safe and keep putting up the good material team!💙💚
Still makes the sphincter tighten. Good job big man
Do guys in Seattle even sharpen their chains
Chains don''t go dull in Seattle.
@SeattleTreeCare from the looks of it they do... guess I'm use to a razor sharp chain before I go up on a big removal... good luck and stay safe
Very amazing, greetings from Indonesian loggers😊🙏
He took the L 😢😢😢
Clever!
Imagine having to rig all that wood out. Yikes.
Great vlog as usual and Robinia pseudo acacia great tree 😊😊😊
interesting. this was a poplar tree, not locust
Jake is the coolest
Hati hati saat bekerja , Semoga selalu di beri kelancaran👍👍
Trying to save money, or there was no. room for anything but the large boomed crane
So the video before I seen something was wrong with the bucket truck what was the problem I heard the guy say one of the bolts was loose can you tell me exactly what happened I run bucket truck all day I've been cutting climbing for 22 years just curious so if I ever have this problem
It was just a matter of the controls coming loose due to a bolt coming out. The mechanic came out, replaced the bolt and tightened everything back down and they were good to go.
@@SeattleTreeCare thank you so much
Looks like another pair of underwear needed to be thrown out. Even when I gaff out it makes my heart stop.
@@stuby2014 oh yeah me too if I got out it scares the dog s*** out of me LOL
No grcs?
Great question. I was busy on another proj and also with the brushy pics we would have violated the safe working distance to the powerlines. Thanks for the great comment!
Just keep the camera's with you next time Pete🤣
Just curious why you wouldn’t have brought the crane out to begin with?
Awesome!!!!
Never leave nubs Russ! They will always come back to bite you in the ass.
Porta wrap (Portable wrapping friction devise) STAY SAFE BROTHERS
Thanks! I updated the title.
I had to fix that same issue on my bucket. Brand new. Whole pistol grip block just fell off inside the housing cause bolts were barely tight
A team? 3 days? Call a mechanic to tighten a bolt? I miss Peter!
what happened? did he sell out?
@@devondunkle1063 No, he is in the video at the end. It's just that the energy for this job was really robbed by Russ's Charlie Brown attitude. Cheer up Russ!
Not too much fun . Definitely lets you know your alive. Glad your ok.
I did high rise window washing. Our ropes would stretch from time to time. Imagine being 20 floors up and the rope stretches and u sink 3 feet.
Better they stretch then snap. Cant imagine that 2 second drop tho.
Is that the Rhino wheel on the 7015? How do the teeth hold up compared to the Sandvick wheel?
They are Rhino's. They do pretty good. Just a pain to replace sometimes. What about the Sandvick?
I appreciate y'all showing the 'bloopers'
Sweet work in the tight area.
Stellar job, Peter and crew. 👌👏

@@n085fs that's a dumb quote and has nothing to do with anything here. In fact, it detracts from the conversation.
@@batmantiss That's your opinion. Success is never achieved is my opinion. It's not a destination.
@@n085fs let me know how that works out for you
I read somewhere that a timber hitch needs at least 5 wraps & to cover 2/3 of the trunk of the tree
Too loose, and the wraps need to be more spread out. Keep that thing tight less slack in the rigging. And throw guys don’t have to bend down to pick that thing up off the ground because that’s where it’ll be after the first rig.
All good input...appreciate the constructive way you passed on this knowledge. Thank you.
It's not a real timber hitch... Just saying.
Gotta keep those wraps separated a bit more eh? They shouldn't be soo close to one another. I'd delete this video and record it again properly if you're trying to teach people how to do something properly 😬
Good information...appreciate it. Ill pass that along and use it as a training opportunity. Thanks!
Great video!
Thanks for watching!
Gnarly brah
I'd love to know how they killed it. I have 7 50 ft trees near my property and the shoots are threatening my enter yard. Hacking and squirting method is slow and hard and they keep sprouting!
The next job...that's pretty incredible production work. Well done!
It's kind of nice not having a chipper to feed
Stop using big words! Make it simple.
Good work guys. Quick question...on your intros, is it a "Rainwaters Ink production" or should it be "Rainwaters INC"?
One day hopefully Rainwaters INC but for now, just a play on words.
Great work fellas!
Expect the unexpected.
im alone in my tree company, and i'm defending don't have a boat 🤣
Haha...goals!
@@SeattleTreeCare but i'm struggle with getting customers, i have had my company for over 5 years now.
I was recently visiting Seattle and enjoyed the variety of urban trees. What a professional business, from be behind the scenes to production work. I would like to see videos on a variety of interview topics, such as growing a business, keeping a high morale, marketing...with Peter. He is clearly a lead from the front (by example) guy!
