Danny Devito as Wario is the absolute no brainer. His role as Frank totally embodies Wario energy, and he already has a long history of fantastic chemistry with Charlie. Charlie and Frank are the best character duo in It's Always Sunny.
As for Waluigi, I'd say Jim Carrey would do a great Waluigi.
I was surprised by how likable and wholesome so many of the characters were! Very fun movie
The critics had me thinking this movie was going to be horrible. I loved it so much.
Rule of thumb: Critics actually hate good movies these days. Anything they hate, we watch and enjoy.

Most normal movie goers will learn the lesson eventually that professional movie critics are too busy sniffing their own farts to be able to identify good entertainment.
Critics only give good ratings to movie that push politics they like
Critics may not like this movie but I think this movie was always meant to be for the fans and audiences who loved playing Mario video games like Mario Kart or Super Mario Galaxy!! This a movie that is to be cherished by a lot of people!!
I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!! Everyone everywhere should apologize to Chris Pratt because he killed it as Mario.
I agree with you on this one! After what's been happening with DIsney and Warner Bros over their mismanagement of Marvel and DC Superhero movies, people who are critics or don't seem to be feeling much of the vibe need to give this movie a chance for crying out loud.

i love no matter how old jack black is, he will still always show his silly, childish side.
Just watched the movie and it was amazing. It probably helped that I recognized all the music tracks and characters from the games I played. Biggest disappointment for me was almost everyone in my theater leaving during the credits, as there was a post-credits scene
You mean bowser singing or was there another end credit scene?

@@yolandag8436 Yeah, at the very end of the credits, there was a scene that showed a camera view moving through the rubble of the sewers that Mario and Luigi were in, and then it comes upon a Yoshi egg in a pile of rubble. This egg then begins to crack and we hear the iconic voice of Yoshi saying: “Yoshi!”
It was kinda of a lame post-credits scene to be honest however Yoshi is my favourite Mario character in the franchise so I’m still hyped.
(P.S. if they give Yoshi a celebrity voice actor I’m gonna lose it)

This was one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time. 😂 Fun, entertaining, cute story, likable characters. I loved it!!
The casting director for this movie did a perfect job.
Chris absolutely rocked it. Charlie was amazing as always (iasip is the greatest tv show ever made). Jack Black was the perfect bowser. Seth playing DK and doing the iconic Seth laugh as DK was awesome. Keegan’s Toad voice was phenomenal. And Anya as Peach was a perfect fit. They all put on a tremendous performance.
Everybody was great here. In fact, one thing I almost feel that the main Toad in the movie, looks like he could eventually become Capt. Toad. Not only does he travel with camping/adventuring equipment; he is already established as an effective survivalist, forager, and gatherer. It would be an idea for Keegan to keep this character going on to take the mantle of the Captain.
When Jack Black talks about Bowser in the first person it warms my heart. He is Bowser.
I love that this film was about the brotherly love of Mario & Luigi! ❤

Just left the theaters in IMAX! Working under review right now as we speak in that format Anya taylor-joy is honestly perfect for the role of Princess Peach since she is a princess herself. 😍💙

I went to see this today it was off the chain thank whoever made this Mario movie it was great!!!
I hope it does great at the box office this week because I like to see Donkey Kong and Legend of Zelda go into development along with Luigi's Mansion and perhaps Mario Party based on the second game.
I could see a great Mario Party short. I would even watch a Mario Golf short

Great interviews and ya the movie was so fun. People at my theater loved it and it really was all ages from tiny kids and their Mario/Peach clothes or toys all the way to grandparents giggling and laughing.
This cast is the best and I WANT MORE. This format with a fantastic Fantasy screenwriter would be INSANE for Zelda. Wario's Woods movie, Toad as the protagonist. Boom. There you go.

Loved the Mario games as a kid, and I still love them now as an adult. As for the movie...it was so good that I nearly forgot that it was a movie, like I was on the adventure with them. Thank you for the spectacular film and helping me keep in touch with my inner child ❤

That scene got cut down in the movie to just a passing shot of Mario getting the fish in the face.
@@lukeshioshio oh that kinda sucks but I sure there are much better scenes in the movie, People who have seen it seemed to enjoy it so unless i begin hearing everyone saying that it was a waste of money I plan on seeing it hopefully in the theater but I may have to wait for digital release. The best thing about digital releases is that they don;t take near as long to become available as a DvDs do. After Video tapes we though DvDs were fast but they don;t have anything on digital
@@TheCrazyNekoGirl2123 They cut the scene down because it's part of a relaxing montage and the full scene would've broken the pace of the montage. I actually love the movie. It has a couple flaws but it's very wonderful and truly amazing. I've seen it twice so far and planning on seeing it at least three more times. The 3D is great too.

I loved this movie and I’m takin my 5 year old son to see it again cuz he loves Superr Mario Bros too but I think they should’ve found someone better for Donkey Kong! He’s a very underrated and beloved character and Seth Rogen admittedly didn’t care at all about the role that was disappointing oh and Kranky Kong was horribly miscast he sounded really young!
