I’ve tried the X-15 and it’s a great helmet. I still have to try the SR10 before I can make a decision. I just wish that red carbon wasn’t a limited edition version because that thing is sick

Non other then the shoei. I might switch to Arai but actually very happy about my shoei so hard to change something that works well. Not so happy about Alpinestars in general, a lot of stuff wearing out quickly.

That's just my opinion. I'm sure other riders love different brands and some don't like that Shoei can be a lil expensive. But you really get what you pay for and you should never skimp on gear that'll save your life if the worst should happen.
Considering alpinestar’s helmet has the same noise levels as the new shoei tested and all, imma have to go with the alpine stars, can’t beat a well designed helmet that also has minimal branding. Looks sexy as hell.

My question though, is the Alpinestar helmet made in China ? I know it has to pass the strict FIM testing for Moto GP, but is it going to have the day to day quality and longevity the Shoei provides ?

Other top of the line helmet that are being made in Italy are using materials shipped from China too, it's just a placeaboo that they're "more premium" because they're made in Italy
I have bother the Arai Corsair X and the Shoei X14. The Shoei never leaves the shelf. It's heavy and has poor vertical visibility. Although it feels like it offers better protection from impact.

🤯 i own an AGV pista S, to say the least the 10R S fits alot tighter than the AGV , the 10R is probably a better track an street helmet the padding is so nice 100% will be buying one
A-Stars helmet LOOKS good, but I'm more interested in aerodynamics, cooling, and quietness. I'm goin with the SHOEI X-15, b/c I noticed REAL performance with the X-14 I bought. Gotta go with The X-15, b/c I believe!! -👍🏽
Personally I didn't know alpinestars did helmets until I saw a review on utube and i,ve been onto bikes for a long time,,shoei is a brand with alot of history and I allways wanted one,, so I would never dismiss the helmet just like that , if I saw them in the shops side by side,, I would try them both out,, and if the alpinestars is as good as the review I may go for that because of the principles of the design of it,, they have tackled some of the design challenges in a different way then other manufacturers and that excites me massively.,
Thought the best helmet company in the world was Shoei when I bought the X12. After they came out with the X14 it got heavier, now the X15 is still heavy while looking neutered AF. No longer that big of a Shoei fan.
Still one of the lightest helmets on the market. Even if it’s gotten a few ounces heavier in the last 10 years, I’ll trade that for high quality materials proven to protect my head. Might need to do some neck extensions lol
The choice is quite simple actually) Just always keep in mind: if you have to choose between a Japanese helmet and non-japanese one - go for the Japanese helmet. (No matter if it's Shoei or Arai).
If its one thing i hate about Shoei helmets, its the field of view. Its soo small and narrow! I can barely see the road when im in the tuck position on my 2022 RSV4. The new R10 looks like it has almost twice the size in field of view compared to the X15. The R10 also looks more aerodynamic. I'll be going with the R10 for sure

Man my Shoei is great it’s so quiet and nice tight fit but damn the pads are like sand paper compared to my Arai… just got my R10 today so gonna see if the hype’s real!!!
@@Victor_Moto I have used them a lot and I find them more comfortable and value for money. At the moment I own a NXR2 I live in Athens Greece and now with temperatures over 35C is very comfortable even in traffic.
@@Victor_Moto have not ridden in the r10 as of yesterday when I bought it , but it is the lightest helmet in my arsenal of lids , it’s not quite as comfortable as my x15 or my Pista rr at the moment , I did get the $1200 pack w/ the Alpinestars helmet bag 💼 , extra shield, tear offs , extras ,and spoiler … I plan to break it in a bit before getting on the track and tracking it … asap ‼️👍

I get that. The X14 has been very good for me. But I have to try the Alpinestars R10.
I feel like you need a 1000cc bike to get the alpinestar, or else you look goofy with the large spoiler

@@Victor_Moto Tried on the RF1200, RF1400, and the X-14. Shoei’s headshape creates a pressure point on my forehead, Arai and AGV don’t.
