- After another long day working on both cappuccinos I am proud to say the red one is a COMPLETE Different car at this point!! Speedo fixed, intake hose replaced, fender piece installed + The complete interior installed and even added turbo timer!!!

When I first bought the blue cappuccino I thought I would just be taking the seats and some little pieces here and there but after this video, its safe to say I easily installed about $1000 worth of parts without considering shipping from Japan so it has me thinking if I should just sell the exterior pieces and keep the shell with the motor and trans for a future swap this summer...... I think I can make most my money back selling the things I don't need to keep the car running like the headlights, taillights, door cards, seats from the red capp ect ect

Don't forget to replace the trim skirt on the rear window that doesn't fit tight and has gaps. The loner car's seems to fit better. Also remember your rear window doesn't go down so the loner might have a part you need to make it work.
I took off the rear trim piece today im going to take it to get painted so I can do the swap
I was dubious about Mr. Rusty but he definitely contributed a lot of goodness to K-CUP. There should be junk yards that specialize in weird stuff for the few people who need stuff like Cappuccino parts in the US. Rusty could still donate parts to keep several more Cappuccinos on the road, way cheaper than sourcing parts from Japan.
Must rusty has been an amazing way to start 2024, Deff my best purchase yet..... now do I keep it or sell it??

Awesome Work dude!! The new ECU definitely sounds a bit quicker, could be my imagination though. The wood grain defiitely doesn't look bad with your interior and even the steering wheel. Glad that Mr. Rusty was able to save you so much, plus you really get a lot of info as far as your Cappuccino is concerned.

I think im going to put a second hood latch on the other side so it does stress the broken side

Nice! But swapping those sweet BBS rims for THREE SPOKES?! No one has run three spokes since Olivia Newton John was on the Top 40. The BBS rims are period for the car, and look so much nicer. Looks like you've made lots of changes that have made the red Cappuccino a better driver. Well done.
I feel like BBS rims belong on euro cars or larger JDMs not a kei car. And on top of that these are 16s making the ride quality VERY HARSH
@@Waybeforethefame I bet they are! While roads here in CT are not wonderful, they're way better than NYC. Running a tall and narrow tire helps a lot. Been enjoying your content a lot the last few months. "Life of Palos' was looking for under recognized automotive TH-camrs, and I dropped your name.

I'm thinking the engine light might be from a sensor having been removed by the previous owner when they were modding the car. It could just be a bad sensor in general.
you might be on to something I need to look it up because it doesn't stay on its on and off
Id also take all the roof seals if any good, coz they are expensive AF to buy new ones, full new set go for about 2k

@Waybeforethefame if it was me and had space I'd pull the motor and gearbox out of the done car and do a forged motor build and rebuild the gearbox over a period of time and then swap the motors and gearbox once finished. Could get a solid 150 HP ATW.
Slowly building mine up, starting with cosmetics and suspension first, then brakes then the motor. Looking for an N2 ECU or might even run a Greddy Emanage Ultimate piggy back computer, bigger injectors, heavy duty clutch and a 1.5 way Cusco LSD.
It wont really feel faster til you give it more boost. Just remenber you get the #8 colder plugs in

yeah it just seem like ALOT of works and my dash isnt THAT bad, I may regret it moving forward if I sell the car with it
