- Can your iPhone get a virus, can your iphone get a virus from websites and if so what can you do to get rid of them. In this video, we take a look at iphone viruses - how to get rid of them and how to protect your device.
How to Clear Chrome Cache on iPhone:
Open the Chrome app and tap the “More” button. This is on the bottom right corner of your app, and it looks like three dots …
Then tap Settings.
Next, tap Privacy. It has an icon like a shield with a checkmark in the middle.
Then click on Clear Browsing Data. This is at the bottom of the screen.
Make sure that the Cookies, Site Data is selected.
Note: You can also clear your browsing history, cookies, site data, saved passwords, and autofill data. However, if you choose one of these other options, you might end up losing some data.
Finally, tap Clear Browsing Data.
How to Clear Firefox Cache on iPhone:
Open the Firefox app.
Tap the Menu icon. This is the icon shaped like three lines in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
Then tap Settings.
Scroll down and tap Data Management.
Make sure Cache is selected. You will know it is selected if the toggle bar is blue.
Then tap Clear Private Data.
Finally, tap OK.

So my issue started when I bought a pair of JBL Bluetooth headphones. Whenever I now connect my device to a Bluetooth accessory, my battery, WiFi, and LTE displays in the top right now do not display unless I drop down the widget bar on the top right. Noticed it a few weeks ago, not sure when it started, but it use to not do it with my DualShock, or my Bluetooth speaker I use at work. Now it does it with anything I connect with Bluetooth. Not sure if is something or nothing, but I’m gonna call apple about it, cause I never go to shady website, (aside from clicking on things accidentally like on YT and Insta, and Twitter) just curious if anybody has experienced something similar with Bluetooth?

I had been on some sketchy websites and then when I was snapchating everything changed colors and I thought I was goin mentak, then when I turned off the app my phone was changing colors more and more , I immediately turned off my phone, I didn’t have a backup to my phone and I’m scared I’m having a virus or getting hacked, everything stopped when I turned off the phone. Could you help me with this? I was on an website and it was just tumblr for art in an post. But the link was in the top of safari but had no description. The link had the name from the post and stuf. But on the last part letters and numbers. I checked with some more tumblr posts and it was the same. But I was stil worried that it maybe automatically downloaded a malware or virus on my iPad. Hey I have a iPhone 7 that I bought 2 years ago from metroPCS and it’s battery performance is 78 percent and sometimes it stutters but that’s really the only thing and sometimes the apps crash but almost never and like around a year ago I download games from tweaking apps like tweak box but outside those my phone seems to be normal so my question is: does my phone have a virus or something? I’m asking cause you seem to be very knowledgeable and by the way I have deleted the third party apps, soft reset my phone and cleared browsing data. Last thing and I sometimes downloaded video files from pirating websites but I delete them after watching the video. Also I’m going to get a new phone soon and I don’t really want to factory reset my current phone so if I do have a virus is the virus gonna transfer from my current phone to my new one if I reconnect my iCloud. Fast response would be appreciated

Im guessing you were using "YTmp3 Co Com" (Without the periods because it's a real site, They changed their URL.), don't use that site, it's an annoying adware, *just use a simple, safe, and well known sites.* I'm guessing you got sent through a redirect, most of them are easy to avoid, but some are *VERY DANGEROUS.* some that I have seen open 15 tabs and almost ALL of them were trying to hack my device. just don't trust it, you're welcome.

So I was on the apple store and I click on a link to a drone app I was supposed to download and directed me to Safari to a website with a red hand saying that this website could steal your personal information. I immediately click the close tab and went to settings and clear safari. Can I still get hacked?
So I was in a comics website and it said you iPhone has been hacked and then you could click ok so I clicked and then it say to click something else to solve issues but I didn’t because it look weird and the settings picture that was shown looked like a Walmart version of the original so did I get hack or it was just the website saying that so I would click the solve issues button and then they could get my info?

My friend got into the hub and when he tried to watch a video, he got a pop-up tab saying that his iPhone was infected with 12 viruses, he immediately deleted all the history, exited off safari and restarted the phone. Is that a virus sign?

The pop up’s are not viruses, but the things you download from these pop ups are most likely viruses.

I click on a website by accent and panic and I close it fast before it could load but the link looked sketchy
with links normally they're phishing websites which would require you to enter information in for the phishing attempt to be successful usually with mobile devices as long as nothing is loaded into your device you should be safe

I have a question. I was searching a birthday up of a person and clicked on a tab about about a theory, and it brought me to 5 billionth search scam. I didn’t know it was a scam, but it did look sketchy. I only spent like a minute there reading the things without clicking anything. Then I pressed the previous page button. It brought me to a pop up saying that my phone has a virus. I got one a couple months ago so I knew it was a scam. Yet i panicked and quickly closed the tab. I’m a over thinker and I don’t remember how the pop up looked liked. I didn’t click anything instead for the side of the pop up so the search bar and the rest of what is in there pops up to clear the tab. I probably didn’t download anything as it didn’t show any signs of downloading. I cleared my search history and more by the settings. I do not notice any changes in my device yet. Am I safe or should I have something to worry about. Please note that I was panicking and left the virus pop out in less than a minute and I could of clicked something. I over think so I need some help. 😅

So my iPhone went to a black screen then showed a blue spinning wheel then I spammed everything cuz I was confused and it turned off an then I tried going back to what I was watching an all traces of me ever being on it were gone, this was happening while I was watching anime off of those sketchy sites

So in my case, I was browsing the internet to read manga, I was in incognito mode, I pressed a link that I later found out was compromised and has virus, it opened 6 other tabs by themselves. I quickly deleted the tabs and restarted my phone. Ofcourse I haven’t gone to that website. Should I be safe now?
yeah the majority of the time websites won't affect or download anything into your mobile device unless specifically initiates a download by prompting you with a message
@@URTechInsight Oh so in my case I went to a website I’ve been using for about 3-4 months, it’s called Lingojam and it turns your text into small letters, but today I went on it and it opened a different tab and said “Your phone has been compromised” and I closed it, and deleted that website from the search history.
But the same thing had happened with my old phone and they were fake virus prompts, so you had to pay them, I’m supposed to be ok, right? No viruses? 😰

Hey so I tried to download a TH-cam video from a sketchy website, and there was a pop up saying your device is compromised click ok to continue it looked like the official apple pop up so I clicked ok. I immediately realized that most likely wasn’t real. I downloaded it through documents using their built in browser and their vpn. Do you think I could I have a virus?

So today I entered safari and a message came telling that my iphone has virus. I was stupid so I clicked the link and that led me to App Store to download an antivirus app. I downloaded it and I searched things like preventing viruses and those stuffs. Then did I know these were scams so I quickly deleted the app. It lasted for 10 mins I powered the phone off and restarted it again after 1 hour.I didn’t get any symptoms yet but I’m worried to death. So will it still effect my phone?

I would be wary of any non Apple messages you're receiving on your phone could definitely be a phishing attempt
