  • Hi folks!
    I'm Elizabeth De Razzo and I'm back after a very long hiatus. In today's video, I'm focusing on mental health and a day in my life in order to update you all on what's been going on with me. I'm not gonna lie, it was a little scary being this honest but I couldn't do it any other way. I hope that by me being this open and honest it helps someone in some way.
    For those of you who are wondering, I will be going back to budgeting soon. I'm starting off with a Budget with a Friend video featuring my friend and writing partner Lindsay who'll you'll breifly see in this video.

    Oh, it's so good seeing you again. I knew from your last few videos that you were dealing with some things that you needed to tend to, and I'm glad you're working on your health and well-being. Obviously, we want you to take as much time as you need to get better. But, thank you so much for letting us know you're still hanging in there.
    I like the comment you made at about the 22:25 min. mark about how this video/vlog is more for yourself...as a way to keep track. Who knows... these vlogs may just be the extra...for lack of a better word... boost in your healing process.
    Oh, and on your vision board... I love..."You will never change the fact that being human is so hard, so you must change your idea that it was ever supposed to be easy." I like the whole quote, but that last part is, well, it really grabs your attention.
    As always, Liz, it's good seeing you. Please stay strong, stay positive, and may you find a reason to smile and laugh at least once each day. It won't cure all problems, but it sure feels good to laugh and smile.
    And here's a quote I'd like to share:

      Your comment totally lifted my spirits this morning. Totally agree with the vlogs helping me on my journey. I'm kind of using them as a diary, a way to vent but also connect with folks who may be experiencing something similar to what I'm going through. Although it can definitely be a little scary being so vulnerable online. I was really nervous about posting again but I'm glad I did it.
      I'm so happy you connected with the quote as well! It's from the book "Untamed" by Glennon Doyle. I read her book last year and I loved it! Totally recommend. I LOVE the quote you shared with me! Definitely adding it to my next vision board as we do them weekly in group.

    I can understand what your going through. I have Bipolar, PTSD, Anxiety , OCD, Panic disorders on top of all that agoraphobia. Its not easy dealing with mental health issues as they can be triggered by things that we can't pin point. I've been having bad panic / anxiety attacks which have been scary. I'll be watching and trying to encourage you. Losing weight is awesome I'm trying but I keep emotional eating which doesn't help in the least. I've missed seeing your videos as your real and showing real life which is great.

      I really appreciate you sharing a bit of your MH journey with me. It can sometimes feel a bit daunting dealing with all of this so thank you for making me feel less alone.
      OH MY GOD the emotional eating is a struggle! Sometimes I'm not even hungry but I'll still snack on something and then I feel guilty which leads me to beat myself up about it and that sends me into a spiral. It's a whole thing.
