Really neat, I liked it very much and can't wait to try one for myself!! I make stained glass spiders but never anything like this!!! Thanks for sharing!! Great tutorial, very clear.
Those spiders are awesome, and its great that you don't have to have have the loop showing on the tips of the legs, will definitely give this one a try,I have 0.11, size seedbeads jablonex, and getting more, in dark red and one type I've not seen before pretty bright mixed color jablonx type seed beads plus other colors, arriving some time next week, can't wait till I get them as they are really beautiful seedbeads,,,I've seen other videos on making beaded spiders, that are beautiful too, but, this idea is very inspiring as you are yourself thankyou for your video.🌹🌺🍁🍂🍁🌺🌺🌹👍🐝🐞
Pin = brooches Earring hook/clasp = earrings, or ornaments Clear Elastic or Beads = ring Jump Ring = charm, necklace, possibilities are endless Suction Cup = window decoration/ car windshield ornament Hairclip = hair decoration
Hello, I just came upon your video. I was wondering if you have a step by step video to connect the legs to the body. Or a step by step for the whole spider? Please and thank you 😊
I bought both beads & wire from local dollar store in the craft section. Are you bending the wire? If you repeatedly bend it in the same spot it weakens the wire and can snap. Maybe go 1 size thicker, the thicker the wire the stronger it is. Just make sure its not too thick for your beads. You could take 2 pieces of wire in the store and pass them both through one of your beads to test. If it's tight fit then wire is too thick.
oh yes!! I usually take small piece of wire bend it in half and work it aroung a piece of the spider so you catch it's wire (enough that it's stable feeling, but also not too much cause you don't really want this wire to show) and then add the pin and twist to secure the wire (think twist ties)
Loved the tutorial please what gauge wire are you using? Mine keeps breaking 28gauge. I love the spiders you are very talented, great workmanship. People are lucky to have the chance to buy your work. Hope you will let me know about the wire. Many thanks.
Really cool! Id like to make something like this for my boyfriends Birthday, but id rather have it bigger and the back part "massive", so not just one layer, so you have any tip for that?
Hi, I am trying to recreate this however the bugle beads I purchased at Michaels are bad quality and the wire I purchased there keeps breaking on me, can u let me know where u purchase your materials thanks
carol kerwin if your bugle/tube bead is smaller you can try and add an extra repeat in the legs. For example the pattern says: alternate seed & bugle 5 times finishing with a seed. You can add an extra seed & bugle to make 6 repeats. You can add as many or as little repeats until your happy with the leg length.
can you give me the total bead count per row on the hour glass (body part? I thought I heard 5/10/11/11/11/10/5/6/3 This is the total going across. can you confirm this? thanks
Está muy bonito su trabajo pero a mí en lo particular sería mejor que para la clase lo haga en color claro por por que yo no veo cuántas chaquiras son y luego en una idioma que no entiendo ojalá lo pudieran traducir a español
This is my favourite technique for making beaded black widow spiders! Awesome!

EXCELLENT video thank you I have been looking for a really nice style for beaded spiders and this is perfect!!!
I used basic seed beads about size 11/0 or 10/0. Not sure what size the bugle beads are, but they're about the length of 3 seed beads.
your spiders are beautiful
Pin = brooches
Earring hook/clasp = earrings, or ornaments
Clear Elastic or Beads = ring
Jump Ring = charm, necklace, possibilities are endless
Suction Cup = window decoration/ car windshield ornament
Hairclip = hair decoration

What size beads do you use and where do you buy them? Have you ever made a huge spider? Great work.

This is awesome. Would it be possible to put a clasp or something to make it into a charm or necklace?
Love it. Could you use fishing line or what size wire?
I use size 11/0 or 10/0 seed beads. I've not tried to make a larger...I'm horrifed of spiders and I get the creeps just making this one! :o)

That was cool love it.
How do I send u a picture of what I made
Hi, I am trying to recreate this however the bugle beads I purchased at Michaels are bad quality and the wire I purchased there keeps breaking on me, can u let me know where u purchase your materials thanks
Hot glue guns don't work the glue just wont hold onto the bead. It might last you a day but then you'd have to redo it.
1 meter of wire right
El material que usas para pasar las mostacillas? Es cobre? Estaño? O tanza? No entiendo el idioma..
Saludos yo la ise con hilo de cobre quedan muy bien .Le saque el cobre a un cable..
What was the length of your 28 guage wire?
about 1 meter
Spider was easy thank you
Where can l get the beads from?
Well I am about to make this??? dumb me but how much is a metre in yards please don't laugh at me
I believe 36" is a yard, and 40" is a metre. A Yard would work fine. :)
what size tubes my are to small went to craft store all they was small
