I am 22 years old and I have just gotten my permit back in March of this year and while I had my permit the first week I got my 2020 wolkswagen Jetta 6 speed. So I was learning both automatic and manual and the automatic is my moms car a 2019 Nissan altima and all I got to say is yes it I perfect car for a first car if that a first manual transmission vehicle But besides the point. I absolutely can drive an automatic ever I will be sticking with my jetta for ever
How does the manual gearbox feel compare to that of a Mazda 3? I've got a 2018 Mazda 3 6-speed, and feel that the manual gearbox is excellent, but am thinking about my next car.
Initially the shifter on the Mazda feels 5% more precise when you're sitting still an practicing the shift pattern but the clutch is less "literal" in the Mazda. And overall the interior of this Jetta has some noticeably crappy plastic parts staring you in the face... but the feeling of the clutch and shifter and steering playing together make you forgive the commuter car interior and simply love driving the Jetta. It's one of the last straight forward non "sports" cars that's actually FUN to drive.
I think it would be a great idea! The V6 is tried and true, with no issues at all that I know of. The only issue I would think of would be driving it in the snow, and the visibility. If either of those is not a major issue for you, then go for it!
generally I agree. especially on the visibility though... these things are scary to drive in a way that only someone who's driven the Camaro can understand
I'm only here because it's a manual transmission thank you!!!

How much does it cost to repair turbo? $2,000 or more? it goes out sooner than you think. How about fuel pump?
The only reason why I’m getting this for my first car is because the pricing and it looks so fool

The Mazda 3 Gearbox is a bit better in my opinion. This is not a very sporty feeling gearbox, but absolutely test drive one and see what you think

At what rpm can you rev it to in 2nd gear? My mk6 is only to 45mph. I assume it's the same ?
I have this car but mine is lowered and on 19s
Keep moving
Hey man what do you think of me getting a camaro RS for my first car is it reliable?
