I just bought this car, same exact model/colour/options, etc... I love it! I traded in my 1996 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro for it, very good car! Excellent value!
@@1PewPew1 I got the 21 and can also confirm only have 2300 on mine been in body shop for 4 weeks should be getting it back next week guy slammed into back of mine month after buying it brand new it holds up good
Thanks for the review, I'm now considering getting a manual version. I rented one for a weeklong road trip (about 4k miles). Averaged 45mpg/70mph. The torque is excellent.
Bought many VW’s from you guys. All the way back when Quirk Volkswagen was next to Quirk Mazda. But since the year 2000 or so Quirk VW moved to Braintree. Bought my 2004 Jetta GLS 1.8T manual and 2009 GTI 2.0T DSG with the plaid seats and many many many more other VW’s. They always had the best price.
I'd much rather buy the 2020 VW Golf TSI 6-speed manual. It's the same engine and great fuel economy, in a better body style. The hatchback provides more flexible cargo capacity options, the shorter overall length makes parking easier, and finally it just looks so much better than the boring sedan! Still, it's great that the Jetta has a 6-speed manual on offer.
I think I am more likely to buy the Golf. I love my 92 GTI with the seats folded its like a truck. Reliability concerns me. Not sure the motor will be a long term reliable mill. So many sensors and electronics to get that fuel economy. I hear S models selling under $14k often.
Daniel LeRoux I agree. I hear S model Jetta and Golf base models sell under $14000. I have a 92 GTI and always appreciate the flexibility. So much space.

Just bought a certified pre owned jetta S, I love it! Its such a fun stick shift car

I have this model. I’ve averaged 39.3 mpg over the first 10,000 miles in mixed mostly in town driving. Hwy driving at 65 mph it tops 50 mpg. For real
That’s pretty much as same as the diesels. Impressive
I just got mine 3 weeks ago, and I confirm that this is 100% true.

I wish VW offered a sunroof in base models. Most of the line was offered a sunroof in the 80’s to early 90’s. Really adds to the fun factor.
You are tickling my left ear
What's the Doug Score?
Negative 12 😁
you need to work on the volume, the speech portion only comes out left ear
Yup, broken microphone. I abandoned this layout after 7 videos
Wait a minute... the base manual version from 2019 were sold new for around 15-16k...
How did it get more expensive ?
That was probably because of discounts the sticker is 20k but you can get them for like 16
Also not a base model it's the 1.8 s gobber a base model is only 1.4
@@martymr.fittness7746 The S is the BASE MODEL. Read the description before making a fool out of yourself.
Awesome 👏 go ahead I like that’s kind of videos “ can you make about small cars “
Electric parking brake is a deal breaker
Exactly, why did they feel it was necessary to lose the emergency brake?
