also even that analogy is bs. sometimes mechanical parts of planes suddenly break, very rarely of course (even rarer assuming it was a problem no one knew about or could’ve prevented). not every plane crash has a person at fault, and some planes are just built poorly or an airline is mismanaged so they’re setting their pilots up for failure
keep in mind this is TV. they likely know what the business is before its pitched, and there are likely to be other experts involved who do a lot of the analysis and come up with the questions beforehand.

Luckily the pilot managed to glide the airplane to an airport without engines. Another accident that ended up fatal, the pilots misunderstood the numbers on the flight plan leading them to fly half the journey in the wrong direction which ended with them going empty on fuel in the middle of nowhere and crash.
