It all started i found a game stash from my uncle. Saw this fps game called "Operation Flashpoint : Cold War Crisis. " But back then i was quite into COD4 Modern Warfare but my pc just wont be enough to handle it, so i just play with what i have. Fast forward few years later theres this PC mag i saw it introduce Arma 2 which also i just found out the same team of people who made OF : CWC so i tell myself i gotta play the game someday, then few years later bought arma 2 when its on sale on steam and arma 3 after. Its been so amazing how this game able to build up my childhood memories and the achievement they did till this day. All the best Bohemia interactive.
I saw images of the Arma reforger editor or game master(Zeus) UI and it’s way too much compared to Arma 3’s editor... it covers the entire screen and has each AI have images instead of the one in Arma 3 where it’s only at the side but when you hover the cursor over the unit it shows the image, it’s much more simplified and more practical since it doesn’t cover your entire screen Aside from that the game looks amazing and an overall improvement(except for game master/editor UI). I might pick it up after a year or so of updates
it isn't perfect but same happened with A3, after some much needed plataform updates this game is going to be epic this game actually is in a better state in some places that arma 3 on launch and hell both have similar issues, not being able to mount weapons, not being able to shoot from inside a vehicle... i wish it wasn't like that but its bohemia
@@ThisIsGlitch Look on the discord. They have stated they are promising 12 months of development, with a major update every 3 months, not including patches and bugfixes.

Gotta fix the game master, maker it like it used to, I also hate how u can speed up the game master speed so easily, like whenever I try to do something in the game master from Arma 3 in Reforger I wind up crossing Everon in 5 seconds and wondering how the hell I got there

Reviews of the 'preview' version say that the game is being simplified to accommodate console players and their limited control schemes and shift towards a modern approach to games rather than creating a successor to ARMA 3. I feel bad for anybody that tries to rationalize it as though 'the game's still in development' as though core principals will somehow magically be changed on release.
If it’s smooth, and easy to use, and I can still do sandbox combat operations with my group with mods that are easy to make and download, I don’t see an issue. Like if I can use scroll wheel to change my movement speed instead of 3 different key combinations depending on what speed I want, all the better.

Reforger is a tech demo not a preview of ARMA4
Game feels like ArmA to me, doesn't have a thousand controls which isn't bad.
