Honestly the more I saw of this design the more I went from "That thing is fugly" to "That thing is ugly, love it." Definitely gonna pick it up after the holidays.
The French dub's lips sync if that's a sticking point for people. I'm glad to see new takes on Gundam. It's good when something stands out amongst the decades, and there's PLENTY of options to suit a given taste.
It is so easy for them to just have the gun camera and the shield emblems as separate yellow pieces. I just don't get why Bandai randomly seems to forget their good design features they implemented on previous models.

I'm just waiting for this to be available locally, or drop prices (right now this is around 32-35 USD where I am). When I get it, I would change the face plate to have no vents, and maybe change the vfin too.
From some friends who managed to get the kits, they fit in with the 1/144 RX-78-2 F00 that has a version with the Dock. Detail wise works well there. As a major note, there is another run of them coming...big issue was that Target had a limited exclusivity in the US if not their full area since I think there's some Canadian locations. That already ended, but the next distribution of them is in January according to everywhere I've looked which seems to say January 6th being the next thing of them
I bet Bandai is going to release an RFV GM before a normal revive GM. Sorry, I just had to get that thought out there and this seemed like as good a place as any.

The gorilla arms to me are the weakest aspect from what I’ve seen so far for this kit. Other than that the design grows on you.
I thought the same. But man does it make some poses much easier than your typical poses ie some overlapping gun and shield poses!
Might be because of the lack of bulk in the upper portion of the arm. But it does grow on you. Lol

Honestly. The Vulcans are kinda... Unneeded if you have a mini gun on your shoulder that's reasonably sized for small arms fire.
I just need Bandai to release an RFV GM and Gouf and then I'll be happy. My EX is in the mail and my P Bandai Zakus will be here in April.

to me, the v fin Jewel feels a bit large.

Initially I disliked it, but after watching the show and the interview with Yamane I've come to like it a lot. Still dont like the shield though.
The designs from this show are so ugly, but considering how most Netflix adaptations go it was actually not so bad.
