- What can happen when you are looking for a perfect yacht? The answers are plenty. What can happen when you are Alexei Mikhailov and are looking for a perfect yacht? You begin your own boatbuilding company. This is how Bering Yachts started: from a dream, a need that could be fulfilled only by something very special. This is how Bering Yachts continues to operate - we dream of something special, we make it, and we take it to unbelievable locations. And we don’t stop at building - we travel and study this world to become better connected to it, to make better yachts. This knowledge and connection form the Bering Lifestyle.
B92 Papillon travels from Antalya, Türkiye to Monemvasia, Greece, and back, and we are sailing along - visiting breathtaking locations, withstanding challenging conditions, meeting great people, and sinking into a relaxing Mediterranean vibe…
This video covers the first leg of this trip, all in the waters of Türkiye. Going from Antalya to Alanya, coming by the ancient Mamure Сastle, returning to Kekova, walking the old city of Theimussa, St. Nicholas Church, and a Myra Theatre - Alexei serves as a guide to his guests, sharing his deep knowledge, wisdom, and love for history and this country.
More videos are coming to cover the rest of this trip. Stay tuned so you don’t miss all the fun, which is the Bering lifestyle.

You are so right! Thank you
Life is wonderful with God!
May I ask what is the red clay looking composition that is put over the steel of the hull to give the steel hull a fiberglass smooth look? I had no idea. Does it ever crack due to flexing? What is long term maintenance like? Thank you!
Thank you for hearting! But can you please answer the question?
I love Bering for how they are built for the worst weather the sea could throw at it. But do it in a safe and comfortable way. Hands above the rest. Totally awesome yachts.
Thank you for your kind commentary!
Спасибо за душевное видео, как с Вами побывал у Св. Николая. Привет из Киева.🛥

It's called "fairing," is like a putty resulting from mixing an "A" and "B" substance, it adheres to the cleaned metal, void of dust, welding slag and oil it comes into contact with when applied. It gives the shipyard the ability that you described, its durable for years for marine intents and purposes, they can remove the warps and imperfections that comes with hammered, welded and bended metal sheets from the yard, typically like these which are likely (maybe?) 10mm thick steel on its hull. To answer if its long term, well when applied, it is permanent, it depends on a lot of factors that one could write an entire ten computer pages. Long story short, look after your vessel.
Thank you for the question! The process is called fairing, and it is the application of epoxy compound to protect the steel and smoothen the surface.
