As with all Bering Yachts they're pretty much indestructable when traversing the world's oceans in any kind of inclement weather, I would trust my life to a Bering Yacht because of their safety at sea record. Alexei has fulfilled his life long dream in which to build an all steel boat that is both safe to sail in and comfortable to live in whilst sailing to whatever destination your heart desires! Long live Alexei and Bering Yachts❤💯%
@@johningham4942 I would temper your faith a bit. While Berings are no doubt excellent sea boats the worlds oceans can produce some very extreme weather which has sunk very large ocean going ships never mind a modest sized yacht. You always need to take weather into account and avoid where possible the worst of it. Always be cautious and never consider your vessel indestructible. There was a famous ship that they considered unsinkable !
The quality, engineering and design of Bering yachts is superb. This is largely due to a history of boatbuilding and engineering expertise in Turkey. They have amazing engineers and craftsmen.
I love the B88, if i had the funds I would already be at your desk signing the contracts. I do have my own ideas about the interior but I will only discuss them once I have the funds. One thing I would love the Bering company to do and that is to have Van Oossanen design bureau to have a look at the hull shape. Even with it being a full displacement hull I am sure you could get better full economics once van Oossanen has done his magic on the current design.
I love this video so much. The first few time I didn’t notice the 88 running its sea trials with the 65. Since I have noticed that I can’t stop watching. That 88 is so beautiful. Alexie is right, the 88 is perfect.
If I won the lottery, I'd have the fastest sale! I've already got colors both interior and exterior! I'm talking everything chosen! Only thing missing are those winning numbers😂😂😂😂😂
I am so enamored with Bering yachts! To me, this would be the boat to own. It’s too bad I’m a nurse because if I were 30 years younger, I would be pushing to represent Bering. But at 58 I don’t think they’re looking for a nurse salesman. Whoever gets to own one of these should feel incredibly safe and blessed!
If I could, I'd extend the 88 to a 96-footer, using the extra space on the lower deck for scuba and sportfishing. I picture a well-equipped fishing cockpit with a semi-hidden prep area that still feels like a luxury beach club-something sleek but functional. I'd also want the option for external fuel tanks to stretch the range even further. More space for fuel, storage, bigger rooms, and larger decks would be amazing. I'd call it the B96CSX for Bering 96 Custom Sport Explorer. It would seriously be the coolest yacht ever, perfect for long stays at sea, like during a lockdown, where you could rely on the ocean to provide most of your food. And yeah, I definitely spend way too much time imagining this for someone who will probably never own one, but dreaming about it is so much fun!
I started watching Bering Yachts about a year ago. I have spent almost 20 years connected with the sea (15 at sea) and spent many hours perusing various nautical websites. I am too old to try sailing yachts. Should I ever come into any unexpected fortune I would be on my skates to Berings without any time to spare. The more I listen to Alexei I am sure all I will hear is the truth (like it or not) I also endorse the post below about the Baltic.
@@madinmex Although I was in the USNavy back in the mid ‘60’s, I never made it to sea; I was a Hospital Corpsman, land-based, when i got off active duty, I went to a Reservist Unit and part-timer on a Minesweeper!! But, I’ve lived within one block of the Atlantic Ocean most of my life, now, about a 1000 feet!!!
One day before I die I might win the Lottery. I am 75 and never win anything so don't hold your breath. Love the Bering line of Yachts and would love to have one that I could run with a couple and not need a captains licence.
I was watching the guy from the UK who bought the bearing 76 and then I thought why aren’t there any sailing videos of bering? I have my degree in marketing yeah I’m a nurse, but earlier in my life I got a degree in marketing and I can guarantee you if you put out a three hour video of sailing life on the yacht, it would have thousands and thousands of views! Just get four or five cameras stationed on the yacht and somebody walking around who knows how to film and put out a video for me (laughing). I know it’s a big ask, but you got a try it for us who want to live vicariously and dream.
Alexi; have you ever had any major problems with a Bering after a sell? Like maybe a dead or dying engine, a leak, stabilizer not working properly, etc???
This i perfect Bering is growing fast, negative side is the prices will go up, Nordhaven take noticions. My forever dream is a 72 , 77, a 88 / 82 is even to big for my dreams
How much Berings are sunken? Which Hullnumber is actual? Can the Hull be build lighter? Why did u say the 88 is under 24? In the sportshipping rule she s above because of hull lenght and even above the 200gt.
@@jeffstone2585 In the case of a pleasure boat, the hull length is measured at a different length close to the water length. Steel boats are passenger ships and not pleasure boats. There are pleasure boats up to 500gt/44 meters approx. 100 feet
88 doesnt reflect the actual length, im not a fan of it but a few months ago they changed the naming scheme where the 88 used to be 80 and the 82 was 75.

Let us make it a bit more into a reality, let say i have a 10,000,000 to spend for a yourney around the world in 10 of the last years of my live , driving the boat with 3 family people in a Bering, is that posible in a 72 /77/82 ????
I think an 82 is around 8 million new. But you would need to get a price from Bering as it will depend on options. I would guess a 65 or 72 might be possible but it’s just a guess and depends on how you anticipate your yearly costs during those 10 years. Reach out to Nautiguys/ Nautistyles as they are having an 82 built and are working with Bering. They may be willing to give you more advice.
@@woolyimage Thanks for your reply, my toughts was that a new boat whit active antifouling and a top quality copper bottom wil lower the anual cost , i can do ALL technical things by myself, no need for a crew, only for specialvoyages

I'm not sure what I'm missing but to me the B88 (and a couple of the smaller models) look like glorified tugboats. The other designs look nice.

The Bering 88 has LOA 26.20m and LWL 24.80m, so the boat is not under 24m. I don't understand that.
At 23.85-meter LLL, her measures are officially recognized as a MGN 280 “Small vessel in commercial use”.
