Hannah Pritchett Bridge across my sorrows. It's not a ghost story though hun. Her mother passing was just a part of the whole story. I recommend it though if you like a good tear jerker with a happy ending. It will make you sob like baby. Without giving too much away, Christina has an horrific childhood in the Dublin slums of Ireland and a crappy marriage in Burmingham, England but turns her life around in a way that will make you cry more. Great book, great ending and a great woman. :)
The shadow one get me. I use to have dreams about figures standing near my bed, walking in my room, or putting their hands on my stomach. Usually it was an outline of someone, very tall and different shade of black. Creepy stuff, man, but great video!

Between the time my oldest son was 3 & 12 he told me he saw things all the time. Some very specific & due to research, accurate. I NEVER told him I didn’t see the things or he was making them up. I 100000% believed him. I have 3 boys. My youngest is now 5.5yrs old & has started explaining seeing things in great detail. Always believe your kids. You can do that in a way it doesn’t feed into it, if they are making it up, or scare them more. It is very common in my family to be sensitive to the paranormal. My grandma, myself, my oldest son & now my youngest all have had numerous experiences. My oldest son actually gets very upset when someone says “ghosts aren’t real” but has learned to say “yeah, because you’ve never experienced it YET or are just not sensitive to them” instead of actually arguing & getting visibly upset.
I'm terrified of shadow people because of the concept of them, the fact that they're blank but you KNOW they're looking, and my sister used to see them.
wow i got goosebumps during the second story. my cousin told me he and his friend had encountered it once and i remember when i was about 5 or 6 i awoke in the early a.m. to see a very tall figure how you described which i now know is the hat man. i woke my brother up and he also saw it. the figure was taller than my door frame so if it wanted to walk through it seemed like it would have to hunch. i still live in the same room and typing this is creeping me out more than i would like it to.

Sometimes, certain locations on Earth would get close enough to other realities to allow the perception of the "shadow", of whoever is standing at the same location on another Earth. This means that to the shadow person, the shadow person is the one standing in this reality, leaving both equally terrified of their encounter.
There are many people that live here in my area that believe they have seen shadow people. The general consensus here is that they are people that lived and died here.
I've seen the shadow hat man too but I always referred to him as the tinkering tall manHe's ominous I'm incredibly skeptical but what happened in sequence was unmistakable

To me, it looked like a Dementor from Harry Potter. I figured it must have been Death because my grandmother passed away later that day as she had been on her deathbed for a month. It would apparently push people over when it passed through them, I only saw it a few times staring at me from the hallway as I slept on the couch and see it moving from there to the kitchen. It was a little unsettling to me but I never fully feared it like most did. We lost the house a while later and now a new family just bought it about a year or so ago. It seemed to stay at the house but I still would like to know what it was or where it came from. Sometimes I think it might've been a spiritual manifestation of our grief but I have no idea in all honesty.
The story about the white figures is not uncommon from people who believe in Islam. I'm unsure if I ever recall hearing stories of non-muslims seeing the same depictions, however. All I know is that the kid who saw one of those beings is lucky; it is often in Islamic literature that people who see Jinns usually die after seeing one.
