17:00 my grandmother and grandfather told us the exact same story!!! They said they were camping and they saw a bright orange light out on the lake outside their window, and that it changed color to purple, and the little lights that broke off of it flew off, and that it was making loud banging sounds..... We thought they were crazy, but how could they have the exact same story as this person? I'm freaking out, I'm a huge skeptic, and I listen to these stories for fun. I never thought I'd hear the story our grandparents told my siblings and I on one of these videos.
They may have witnessed some ball lightning...it is rare but sometimes ball lightning bolts appear reddish orange or faintly blue. Swamp gas is more common and is usually blue.
Strange things happen. My aunt was into Early American style deco in her apartment. She took an old milk can and painted it burnt orange. She then shellacked an American eagle on the front. She used it at her front door as an umbrella stand. At one point it got dented by my brother. This was back in the 70's. When she died in 2001, we sold many of her items at an estate sale. The milk can was sold too. About a year ago, we were vacationing in Wisconsin, a full days drive from our hometown. We stopped at an antique store, mostly because our 2 year old needed to use the bathroom. As we were leaving, I looked across the room and in the corner was a milk can, painted burnt orange with an American eagle on the front. I drug my husband over to it and pointed it out. "That looks like the one your aunt had." I walked around to the back of it and, I'm not kidding, there was the dent. I looked inside and there were the pits from the tips of the umbrella's on the bottom. I didn't buy it, although I was tempted.
What you say about the air on Halloween feeling different. I've always found that to be true, from about 4pm onwards. I don't know why it is but every year is the same! Wonder why?

I'm not defending the older guy but the girl said in her story that her and her friends were all dressed sexy and then she is shocked when someone shows attention because of it. She should have had better sense than to get into a car with someone she didnt know in the first place.
