Well Alastair I must say how lovely it is to see you back up the mountains. Nice surprise to see you’ve posted again, so look forward to the next. The weather was blooming awful but nice to see your back driving. Loved the jacket 👍
Hi Phil, I didn't pick the best day did I 🤔. It made for a very difficult day, I enjoyed being back filming...the editing less so! The videos won't be as regular as before, but there will be more! Thanks for watching, ATB Alistair 👍
Nice to see you out and about again Alistair. Craving views over to Little Mell. You definitely picked a windy day for your return! Nice view of Sharp Edge on Blencathra. Back behind the wheel too, great to see! 👍
Yes out in the car's and riding the motorbike 👌😎 That was the first mountain walk since February last year, felt good. My mobility is improving all the time.👍 I doubt the videos will be that regular, but I intend to film all of my hill walks and one or two other "off topic" items as well. Thanks so much for watching and commenting, ATB Alistair 👍
I've had a serious case of the CBA's😂. But back driving again now so hopefully I'll get the rest of this round done this year. Thanks for watching, cheers Alistair 👍
Hi Alistair, great to see you back out in the hills. I was only thinking the other week I hope you are ok. Two great little hills those, and so easy to do. We combined the two in to a little figure of 8 walk when we did them. Hopefully it won’t be two long before you do another video in less windier conditions! Haha All the best, Dave 😀🥾⛰
Doing them as a continuous walk is a good way to climb them, although I've only done that once. It definitely won't be as long until the next video....and hopefully less windy! Thanks for watching, cheers Alistair 👍
It has been a while so good to see you back and on a nice day too, well, apart from that wind. It was just over a year ago I did them both together on my first round and still have another 45 to do to complete them all for the first time. I cannot see me doing them all 8 times! Cheers Alan
It was hellish windy, almost impossible to film so the video was short...and a bit poor to be honest ☹️. Surely we're due some decent weather soon Alan. Thanks for watching, ATB Alistair 👍
Good to see you back at it! I’ve missed the videos and inspiration for my next Wainwright! I’m a Manxman and got back a couple of weeks ago from a trip to Grasmere where I did your Grasmere, Easedale Tarn, Sergeant Man, High Raise and Blea Rigg route! I did it in the fog and rain though, so it was tough. Looking forward to the next one! Keep safe.
Thanks very much. Neither of the Mell Fells are particularly inspiring in themselves, but they both have great views. Shame you didn't have clear weather for the High Raise walk. Last time I was on the Isle of Man I walked the coast path, and enjoyed it immensely 👌 Thanks for watching, ATB Alistair 👍
Hi Graham, back to as full health as I can expect I think. I feel great, and looking forward to enjoying the summer. Thanks for watching and commenting, ATB Alistair 👍
Hiya mate. Long time no see, good to see you back out matey, you definitely chose a wild day for it 😂 New jacket ?? I’m guessing paramo velez ?? 82 of your 8th round …. Wow mate that’s awesome ATB Alan
Hi Chris, I'm feeling good... you probably aren't aware (and why would you be) that I had a brain haemorrhage in February 22 and brain surgery in Feb 23. But I'm back driving (and riding) now and feeling much better mentally and physically 👍 I don't think Little Mell Fell would offer any potential, but Great Mell Fell would be a possibility... you'd need a decent dry spell, it's damp to say the least! Near the summit there's a bit of grass, you would have to carry all your water from the car. Great place for views, sunrise and sunset will be available. I think Wainwright said it was like being on top of a giant Christmas pudding 😂 You wouldn't want a wind like I had that day! Trust you're well, thanks for watching and commenting ATB Alistair 👍
@@WainwrightWalksWiaLocalLad Sounds a bit scary that Alistair. Glad to hear you are on the mend and some semblance of normality is returning. Bye for now, Chris

Yes it's a Paramo...a Quito, not made any more now ☹️ very comfortable to wear in weather like that!

Great to see another vid Alistair. Both those fells look good. Do they have any wildcamping potential? Hope you are well pal. ATB, Chris

Is little mell ok after his fall ?
He's recovering well, luckily Great Mell was there to help him up!😂😂
