Hi Alistair. That was great (could have been a bit longer). You make a challenging hike look like a gentle able. Genuinely loving seeing you back out more regularly 👍
It's only a short walk that one Phil but there'll be some longer walks coming soon. Thanks for watching and commenting, it's very much appreciated cheers Alistair 👍
Hi Graham, yes I drove over the passes very early to avoid the crowds.... I was still surprised to be able to park and have the fell to myself. Thanks for watching and commenting as always it's very much appreciated, ATB Alistair 👍
Nice seeing you out and about driving again Alistair. Thanks for the sunglasses warning! 😂 weather has been better everywhere lately in the morning. Lovely Herdwick watching you, I really miss them. A false summit, have to love that! Nice cairn at the top of Hardknott. Cracking views over to the bigguns. Never done this one, will add it to our list 👍
Fit folks like yourselves would be up and down Hardknott in under an hour I'm sure! Sorry about the legs, they've not been out much. I've felt the cold so much since I was in hospital 2years ago. Thanks so much for watching and commenting, ATB Alistair 👍
I'm going to resort to tan in a bottle I think.😂 That was the first time they've been out... weather has been crap! Thanks for watching Steve, and commenting ATB Alistair 👍
Ey up Alistair, I love Hard Knott some amazing views from there. I particularly like going to the end of the ridge to Border End, I think that’s a belting little top. I see the pins are out. Does that mean it’s officially summer?🤣 All the best mate Dave 😀🥾⛰
Hasn't felt like summer today Dave, legs aren't out I can assure you. Yep Hardknott is a cracking little top, as you say amazing views of the Scafell range. Thanks for watching and commenting ATB Alistair 👍
Good to see you again. I am hoping to be back in the lakes in July following surgery last month. Just starting to walk locally for now, not even a mile yet. Energy sucking it is. I so miss the lakes and still 150 wainwrights to go.
Hi Julie, hope your recovery goes well. The hills will always be there! I trust you still have some of the lower/easier ones to do... they generally have the best views anyway. Our weather has been a bit grim, and this week doesn't look great 🤔 Tek care, ATB Alistair 👍
@WainwrightWalksWiaLocalLad I'm.not sure which ones they would be. I think I have done most low ones. Binsey, Great and Little Mell Fell, Walla Crag, Latrigg, Loughrigg, arthirs pike, Barrow, catbells, black fell, Glenridding Dodd. Not sure what others would be ok
@@Muddipaws1308 Let's think...Low Fell and Fellbarrow from Loweswater via the Mosser Fell Road? Burnbank Fell (Blake Fell could be added for a little extra) from just South of Fangs Brow Farm? Longlands Fell from the minor road West of Green Head? Have you done Hardknott? It's steep away from the pass but after that not so bad Those are a few I would have a look at. Maybe that helps... hope so! Cheers Alistair 👍
well done 👍💪💥

Brilliant Alistair. That looks quite a view to up Eskdale and the big beasts encircling it. Interesting fell too, with all the rocky knolls. 👍
It's a grand wee hill, it deserves more than I gave it really.
Thanks for watching and commenting, cheers Alistair 👍
Great views from the top and good you've got nice weather and the place to yourself.

A lovely outing Alistair...i feel real good, knowing that there are people out there with whiter legs than me.
I'm going to resort to tan in a bottle I think.😂 That was the first time they've been out... weather has been crap!
