- Hello TH-cam Friends! Welcome back for another fun video! In today's video, I am sharing how I upcycled and flipped several old, worn and thrifted items into beautiful pieces to use inside and outside of my home. I hope you get some inspiration to revamp and refresh items you already have at home or items you find while you are out treasure hunting at thrift stores.

That lamp was possibly the prettiest upcycle I have ever seen!
You may be waiting to work on the exterior of your home but the things you are adding like bird feeders and plants are sure jazzing up your home. They are all beautiful!
Every basket, box or container that comes into our house becomes a cat bed. Beautiful work!
I love EVERYTHING you do! If you had a shop, I'd probably spend all my money buying your beautiful decor!

Deborah, did I enjoy the video? No, I absolutely loved this video!!! Again, no one on YT comes close to your techniques. You are a MASTER. You should consider hosting small in number classes. Deborah wrapping the basket handles with moss and twine was genius and soooo lovely! The hummingbird footage brought a smile to my face. ❤️💫
Bird feeders were a touch of genius... The standing floor lamp/decor planter 😘... Corbels... "Cat bed basket"... You have a gift that I am beginning to want to explore for myself 🤗
Each of the makeovers was inspiring but I think I Like the "Kitty basket" best😆😉

Bird feeders are fantastic. Hopefully the birds love them!! Love seeing the woods and wildlife. You really work magic with paint!
All your projects turned out beautiful but my favorite was the metal aluminum bowl and candle holder. When you finished working on them they looked amazing and very expensive/sophisticated . No one would ever guess what they were originally.
The DIY of the floor lamp into plant stands is genius and beautiful.
That floor lamp with the wire basket, antiqued green shade, and cascading greenery….. perfection. I shall be duping. As well as the bird feeder. And the old book refresh… Oh gosh, probably everything else too ;)

I absolutely love the way in which you arrange your greenery. Oh, and as to the little bird house that you painted. . . keep it as is and just tuck it away during the holiday seasons (I'm sure you'll find another to transform) and bring it out each spring -- it's perfect! Deborah, my jaw literally dropped when I saw that blooming floor lamp. I can't get over that. I'm in awe. I was working on my own projects while watching you and I couldn't focus on what I was doing because I was enthralled in what you were doing. Absolutely spectacular.
When I see you are doing a DIY upcycle, I can’t wait to watch the piece transformed into something beautiful, unrecognizable from its previous condition or purpose. What you did to that basket!! What you did to that ceiling light fixture!! Btw, I think Maxine just needed to get started on her base tan and then take a nap in her box. Being in the sun is exhausting. 😻

My favorite is the aluminum bowl project. I often see those beautiful aluminum pieces and pass then by, because they don’t work for for decor style, but now I will be rethinking them.

I just absolutely love & in awe of the way you can turn anything into a one of a kind gorgeous piece of art that looks like its from old world France. You are so creative and such a master of painting! So many great projects but I really like the bird feeders and the book with the clay appliques.
You must be a home decorator and took painting lessons. I don't know why I doubt how some of your painted pieces will turn out because they all turn out beautifully. That layering technique just baffles me!! Some of the colors you use seem to be a little "out there!!" Then by the time you finish it, I'm like " holy cow, that's stunning"!!! I had serious doubts about the bookends, but yet again I'm taken aback at how beautiful they turned out!! I would love to buy them if you ever sell them!! You always have such beautiful pieces!! Again, if it's not being a decorator and took painting lessons then what a God given talent you have!! I ALWAYS look forward to seeing your videos!! Thank you for sharing your talent and home decor with us.

I loved all of your thrift flips! I must say the repurposed basket with your sweet sleeping kitty is by far my favorite picture! 🥰😻
And the light fixture turned into a bird feeder... goodness, girl. I am so in love with that piece too 😍 You always come up with such clever things like the bird feeder and the hanging basket on the floor lamp but also such amazing and clever paint finishes as well 🎨 I have always been in love with the French Country look and just recently started to slowly switch/change all of my home decor over to French Country from Farmhouse and French Farmhouse. To say that you have been such a big inspiration to me, is an understatement! I own my own business where I sell flipped thrifted items, a lot of wood projects, vintage and antique pieces, etc. I started my DIY journey several years ago with just refinishing furniture. I absolutely loved the furniture artist life but due to health issues, I would no longer handle the large pieces of furniture on my own. I still do small pieces for my vintage booths though with very occasional larger pieces if I can get the help with picking them up, moving them, getting them into one of the booths, etc. I am so business focused and oriented that I have neglected to make my own home exactly how I want it so that's what I have been focusing on lately. Slowly getting my house filled with all the things that fill my heart 😊 I just recently found your channel and am so very thankful that I did. I have been binge watching your videos lol ❣️Thanks for listening my friend ❤️

All of the upcycles are beautiful. It is hard to pick a favorite. I am always impressed by your ability to envision and create new items by upcycling. I am impressed with the shelf idea. The brackets look pretty and the stain really brought out the knots in the pine wood. Thanks for all of the inspiration.

I really look forward to seeing your videos and all the beautiful projects you do. I’ve recently started canning food and it’s time to plant my garden, so my next big project along with canning will be dehydrating veggies for cooking. I’m not much of a decorator, but you have inspired me here and there. Things seem to have calmed down for you a bit and you are making more videos again and I’m so happy about that! The basket makeover was great and then the cat took over. Hahaha. Love it! My favorite was the lamp stand in the spare room. I love your deco style!!!

Thank you, Linda! It seems every surface in the house is a cat bed. 😂 Cas, the one kitty that was sleeping in the basket, is the one who chewed it up originally. He's a little stinker!
