Are you tired of the same old DIY projects? Well, in this video, I share 10 unique upcycling and repurposing projects using easy to find thrift store items.

The tile is beautiful. It looks more like an architectural salvage piece than a thrift store find.

Every time I watch your videos I continue to be amazed at your creativity and ideas for projects that look so great and are dupes for higher priced items.
I just want to go to the thrift store and buy a whole box of odd things to send to you just to watch what you do with it all. Your creativity is off the chart. I am always amazed when I watch your videos.
Sherry you say you're not an artist. You most certainly are..... Artists just don't draw or paint a portrait. You have an incredible artistic mind that just won't quit.

I have to say, as the eldest (63) daughter of a watchmaker, watching you take a hammer to that clock made my heart hurt. But the outcome....oh MY how I ❤ love it!
The mirror painted over and roses added us PRECIOUS! What a great idea....looks antique
The double frame looked so classy ! And the propagation station is ingenious ! You make this all look so simple. I don't know where you get these ideas, but I'm so impressed. No cheesy crafts here !

OMG, feet that actually LOOK like feet! That is so cute, but I think I like the clock the best. Wait, that frame within a frame is gorgeous, too. And the propagation station is perfection itself. Oh, geez!

I like the thread on the spools, I believe it adds more to the project. The transfer on the tile painting reminds me of the illustrations from the book Ferdinand by Munro Leaf.
I am always amazed at people's creativity of repurposing items to breathe new life into things. Thank you for sharing!

I was unsure about the totem at first but after seeing your version I now want to try and make one myself. It is so unique and looks good inside and out. And that clock tower/shelf was just as great.

That black spool with 3 feet and purple flowers under glass is the zaniest, most delightful diy I've seen in ages!

I also want to mention how much I like the thread spool tray.( yes, staining the top wood strip would look lovely too) I collected lots of old wooden spools & I like the thread ON so I made a wreath with them for a sewing friend’s birthday gift.
Love everything Sherry, but my favorite is the Rabbit Totem Pole. NO way I would pay $800!!! And I think yours looks better! Wonderful video as always.

Sherry you are so good at what you do. There’s a fine line between unique and eclectic & wired and ugly. You never cross the line and many make it look so easy. I’ve subscribed to many TH-cam channels but when it comes to up cycling, thrifting crafting I rarely get past “Ca” in my list. Thank you so much, you’re a true inspiration!

There was one project this week that I did not include in the video because even though I spent a ton of time on it, I didn’t like how it turned out. I wouldn’t make it again. I’d rather have a shorter video with projects that I am proud to present.

My favorite is the green clock bookcase. It looks like they were made to go together. I love your unique creations....very original, that I have never seen before on any other channel.

I have to tell you, I've never seen one of your videos before, and when I first watched I just thought, this isn't for me, simply because my aesthetic is mid century modern focusing on old thrift finds. I am SO inspired by watching you. It's very empowering to see someone using things from their home or thrift stores to make something better. You're very creative. There truly is no one like you. Just when I think you have done it all there you go again, amazing and inspiring me! I loved them all but the clock shelf, spool tray and ceiling tiles were my favs. I very much approve of leaving the thread on the spools. It makes it authentic but whimsical. When you first started doing the tiles I thought, oh no, I don't think she should touch those, they are perfect as they are. Wrong! You made them better. Also, you are just a sweet soul and I can't wait for Mondays!!

I used to receive Mackenzie Childs magazines in the mail and I was shocked at the prices as well. Your totem is so cute! Now I'm on the hunt for pieces and parts to make one! That rabbit can go anywhere. Also liked the tin tile treatment, you saved it with redefining the bull.
Thank you! I really think that if I had pressed the inlays into the paint with my hands the first time, the bull would have transferred much better.
