Wild Tales ! Great new song (and a great old one) from their new album coming out June 3 (True Stories). Thrilled the boys are back, and with Brandon Fields to boot! Yahoo!
looks like there are a few new faces in the membership of the Rippington band...and perhaps not as many as members from the recent ...like the Jeff Kashuwa days...or Eric M. days. So the Rippingtons..have a couple of new faces ..But Russ remains the steady front guy...still can hold the sound ..great job.
Disagree, J. It adds to the soundscape of the bridge and is very melodic. For as long as two lines take to sing, you could hardly say using the vocoder here is gratuitous. You can't believe Mr. Freeman is going to include something that reduces the appeal of a tune.
This comment is five years old, but he’s an old band member, named Brandon Fields. He was actually the first saxophonist the Rippingtons had (to my knowledge).
Russ is a musical genius. Love the way he blends such different sounds into each song for rich tapestry of sound. Such a talented group of musicians.
Native Sons is one of the best Rippingtons songs ever and this sounds great live.
Russ Freeman is a genius and my favorite guitarist of all time

love the music but the vocoder is not needed in 2016. So 90's

That's like what makes the song....... They're also being 100% true to the original recording which is what more bands need to do
Jeff get a night off? Backup dude did a great job though.
