- Conventions for Only Fools & Horses Fans are held most years (when there isn't a pandemic) In 2018 we enjoyed these rare glimpses into the lives and characters of our favourite sitcom. Although it isn't getting the same hype as the friend's reunion, it's the UK version of our biggest sitcom.

The greatest comedy to ever grace the small screen. Everytime i watch it, its like an old friend has come round for a chat in lonely times.

Being attracted to men is caused by an imbalance of testosterone and other hormones that affect the libido, if something has to be wrong for someone to to attracted to men then it obviously not right .

Im glad this show, along with the characters who were in it are still a part of people’s lives. Kind of like an old school friend that you will always have fond memories of. ♥️
I saw this show and I cried and laughed a timeless comedy which I miss so much I watch the repeats now in this depressing time thanks to all actors and producers directors writers and workers behind the scenes I applaud you all and thanks to this footage lovely Jubilee 👏👏👏👏👏👏

I've been to a convention - the actors are always amazing so friendly.
It's more than a tv programme to me it's part of my childhood and I've grown to appreciate just how incredible the writing was and the jokes get better in time IMO.
I used to be word perfect on most episodes as well.
My favourite episode is healthy competition - Rodney always complains about not having independence, and in that episode he actually makes the first real effort to make it alone. Del like any good parent lets him fail and takes him back with no grudges. Also young tawser - he isn't that young lol just pure Top notch writing

I love all British comedy shows, but this, this is another lvl ☝️the Best ever made, and yes i was watch them as a child and i still watch them today, probably i will never stop watching😏🤗. The early series were very poor. The Christmas Specials are what made it.
@@shack7631 calling them very poor is not fair at all. Ok, I do find the uncle Albert era better than the grandad era but to say they were very poor is absolutely wrong. There were some great episodes.
@@JP.708 Yes, some passable episodes, but overall the series themselves were poor. I can see why there were concerns in the early days that it might have been cancelled. It is remembered best for the Christmas Specials, which was how it really made its mark. That is except for Miami Twice which was simply awful.

I'm an American and can truthfully say the 'Friends' has never, will never even hold a candle to 'OF&H'.
I'm a huge fan of ALL the old British Comedies.
40 years of the Greatest TV show
I watched the stage show at Haymarket Theatre last week. It was a surprise for my birthday. Show is fantastic. I felt transported back to then, when you had to just work things out for what they were. I would love to attend a convention.
I used to watch Only Fools with my great Gran, now I watch it with my own children.

John Sullivan was a legend to bring us only fools and horses that's still funny no matter how many times I've watched only fools still laugh out loud I've got the box set but can't wait for and uncut DVD or Blu ray box set of only fools and horses
My favourite and best ever British programme of all time it's timeless John sullivan was a genius my favourite character after del was trig rest in peace old boy Roger llyod pack brilliant I was only born in 95 but was brought up with ofah jusy discovered this channel brilliant mate hope you are still running this channel keep it going

AHH when the BBC made programmes for normal working class people.
I think it was for everyone it was classless which is what made it so brilliant. Everyone loved and appreciated the show, it did not need bad language with insults being dipstick and plonker instead of profanity. People were dressed normally not overtly sexual just good wholesome comedy with well written jokes that worked for all ages. The world is crying out for family comedy that we used to take for granted.
Exactly what ive been saying for the past few years BBC claim to be diverse but all they do is shove the middle class dream down our throats and pass it off as "everyday people" even on CBeebies its all well spoken yuppies living in 3 quarter of a million pound houses with the perfect fkin lives

No, just let it as it is. Sometimes it's the right time to end things. And it was ended perfectly. Rock and Chips was awful.

No Del or Rodder's, that would be like a Frasier reunion with no Kelsey Grammar, or the office reunion with no Ricky Gervais or the fresh prince of bel air with no Will Smith

I went to the exebition at Dreamland in Margate in 2019 - to mark the 30th anniversary of the filming of the Jolly Boys Outing, it was the afternoon of the last day & a bit of a damp squib really, only one cast there from that episode - Robin Driscoll aka the great Raymondo, still really enjoyed it, got to see all the displays of all the items of memorabilia - which is very impressive in itself & walked around the filming locations including Dalby square where the hotels were, around the Harbour Arm (well changed!), Dreamland And of course the Train station, great weekend loved it
What an awesome wife to give this as a surprise birthday present! She’s a keeper! I’d love to come to one of these conventions I need to start dropping hints to the Mrs. Fingers crossed these things will be back soon. Can you pretty please come to the West Midlands. Pretty, pretty please:

I keep wondering, why David and Nick werent regular on these meetups? I searched through many of OFAH AS videos and they were usualy absent. Pitty indeed.
Because they didn't need the money.
The organisers would never be able to afford the appearance fees unless it was for a major event but even then I doubt they would do it outside of London.
Not sure why you’re trying to compare it to the Friends reunion. Two very different shows, both with very different strengths. Both shows were brilliant in their own right and I think trying to compare them is silly.
Sorry pal, 'Friends' doesn't compare to 'Only Fools' simply because it's nowhere near as good. Americans haven't made a decent sitcom since the days of Sargent Bilko and Lucielle Ball.

The cast are all National Treasures and should all be given a knighthood like David Jason! I do miss Roger Lloyd Pack though. Trigger was my favourite character. He was so funny playing that part. RIP RLP.

So true I am an American and I just got into this show a couple of months ago and absolutely love it so I started to look online for anything on them and it's so sad to see them older but like they say time doesn't wait for anyone.

The greatest comedy ever. I adore british comedy, but nothing can be compared to this. In Croatia we called it "Mućke", there's no real translation but what Delboy did and how he conducted his business. Only fools and horses has a cult status here, and in neighbouring countries too. Even our subtitles were sometimes using our own equivalents of cockney slang. I also loved Darling buds of May, because of sir Jason.
hopefully in a couple off years the whole crast including del and rodney should just do a big one to say goodbye that would be nice since they r old now
