i really need to know what next. when client comes back, I'll rebalance. when she comes second time, nail is grown enough that we can just do overlay? or should i cut the nail short and put tip again? Please guide. TIA
Depend of how long nails client will have when she comes next time. Usualy I would say it takes about 2 more times which is 6 weeks and then Client have very long natural nails under gel nails and tips also grow out. Then You can fill all gel off and tip off (if it is still underneat gel) and put gel on natural nail.
And You actually on these nails can do overlay all the time until natural nail has grown under tip. You dont have to take off tip and place new one, only in case if it is broken and You can not do gel overlay.
After gluing on the nails and buffing off the shiny of the whole nail, you don't have to file the middle down to blend in the fake to the real right? I couldn't really tell

I've tried to blend in the line of the fake one on my real nail and it just create a dent in the middle of my natural nail cuz it never fully blends in no matter how I file it..
You should buff all nail tip and then buff more that line un till it blends. Maybe there is problem with tips. I am using Ez Flow tips and when I file they blend perfectly.

Hi, it depends of many factors. Maybe it is glue, maybe tips. I learned in beauty school that tips should be glued, not natural nail. And glue should be on 1/3 on nail tip. Also natural nails should be super short, and tips should stick to the end of natural nail, not on all nail surface. Sometimes organism doesn't accept gel or even gelish colors. Some people have too oily nail surface, and it can not be fixed. Maybe You should try acrylic nails or gelish. And try some more . And it also depends of products that you use. I use OPI glue for nail tips or Astonishing brush on. And tips that I am using is by brand EZFLOW leisure nail tips. I prefer these products more than others.
inhaleDaijah that feeling is not always because of gel, or brand. It depends of how thin is your nail, if your nail is very thin that means it will give that burning effect. And sometimes gel on nail cure faster, thats why there is also burning effect. But yes IBD gel sometimes gives it, but that does not mean that it is bad. Just take out burning nails and put them back into lamp, it will stop.
If you are experiencing a heat spike, you are likely filing your nails beds down too much during prep. Over time that can lead to real damage, so gently buff your nails (don't scratch them up with the file too deep). You'll find the glue will adhere to the nail just fine and the nails will still last long. To repair your nails, give them a two week break and apply some nail strengthener or apply a good cuticle oil over the entire nail during those weeks before you do another set. I hope this helps!

Nail tips by EZ FLOW Leisure tips To cute nail tips I used special nail tip cutter(I don't know the brand) Glue for nail tips: Astonishing brush on glue, I also have tried and it is very good by ORLY brush-on nail glue. PH BOND to clean oil by EZ FLOW, called Ez bond Gel base by IBD called pro bond Gel by IBD called hard gel (invisible) Color that I used is by brand Gelish harmony: Black shadows, but I also have tried and it is good by brand Supernail: deep abyss. Gelish top coat is by Gelish harmony: Top it off Cleanser by Supernail: gel cleanser Cuticle oil that I use is by Gelish harmony brand.

Micka Nailfan maybe problem is in brand? Or maybe in lamp, are you sure that it is LED? Very strange actually that it doesn't cure. Actually there are some brands that cures only in UV lights, not in LED.

Yes You should apply base coat, if not then nail will be ruined a lot and gel will not be weared for long time, it will rip off
Oh sorry I mistaked Your question. On extension do not apply base coat. Just file it and make matt and color will stick to it. No need for base coat

You have to file to blend them. Maybe it is hard to tell on video.

I am not sure. It is tips+gel technique. It is the same as from+gel technique, I only use tips to make nails longer.

I learn't the hard way, black gelpolish does't cure in 1 minute in led, it must cure also 3 minutes in led. Beautyful nails btw
Micka Nailfan I use gelish harmony brand. And also supernail brand. Both cures in LED for 1 minute. Never had a problem with that.
