Question : Jesus was crucified by the Roman Solders and Pontius Pilate for " Raising his hand against the Roman Rules ". Where in the Bible does P .P . say " I nailed Jesus to the cross for your sins?
The phrase "I nailed Jesus to the cross for your sins" is not a direct quote from the Bible, right? However, the sentiment that the Apostle Paul expresses personal responsibility or a personal connection to Christ's crucifixion as representative of humanity's sins can be inferred from several of his writings. One such passage is Galatians 2:20, where Paul writes, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
Galatians 2:20 sounds more like non sensical metaphoric gobbledygook nonsense . Still the fact is in the Bible Pontius Pilate and his solders had Jesus nailed to the cross not God . P.P. never said in the Bible he had Jesus killed on the cross for our sins . @@biblequestionssimplified
You are wrong , it is very clear in the Bible , P.P. is the main character who had Jesus nailed to the cross , not God . Again please tell us where P.P. said in the Bible that he killed God for our sins . @@nathanielalderson9111
As most people have replied, God is not a genie, nor a Santa Claus. If you ask the Father for something that will contribute to his plan, you will receive it, but if you ask for something just for your own personal gain, you will not receive. It's all about His will, not ours!
Mt. 6- 33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." God always hears our prayers but answers them according to his will not our will. This verse is what God wants of us before he anwers our prayers. How do you seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness. 1 Peter 1:16, it says, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
What you should be taking on board from Matthew 7/7-11 is what it doesn't say....and that is that you will receive what you ask for immediately...you will receive what you ask for...but only at the appropriate time...much in the same way as we treat our own children...we give when the time is right.

I live by Proverbs 31:6. Hallelujah.
I'll raise a glass to that!
We do have to balance faith with realism, and also our expectations. Belief will set you free my friends!
Well said.
God gives His will to those who ask. God is NOT santa claus.
