    I know it as seseme seeds. I've never used it like that before. I've only had it in porridge. But I'm going to try it in peanut butter.

    In Sri Lanka sometimes we add scraped and lightly roasted coconut as well. Makes it extra delicious but a bit softer. If low on sesame, some people add roasted semolina.

    Sister this sweet available in Tamil nadu also.. Its tamil name Ellrundai. Sesame seed balls. Very tasty and healthy..both black and white available... My fav

    Here in the Caribbean in the Island of Tobago using simsim (we call it benne) is used in much the same way to make balls similar to those you made. We got the knowledge from the African slaves, its still a delicacy today!

    I make these sesame bars. I roll mine on a baking sheet and cut into squares and when cooled they break away and they become like sesame cookies. I usually use honey instead of sugar. Very nice. 👏👏👏👏❤

    Hello Eunice, It is really a very yummy snack. In India its one of our traditional recipe and its called Til laddu ( Sesame balls). We prepare this in winters for a festival called makar sankrant. We actually use jaggery in place of sugar. Also we add some crushed peanuts to this which makes it more yummy. Do try it our way once. Keep posting new recipes 😍 we love it.....

    Next time you try cooking with grated ginger .we do something similar in jamaica 🇯🇲 with dried coconut

    We used to make it with Jaggery .. u can add Little water to make sugar melt , also u can leave some time to cool before making ball...

    I think that's sesame seed candy. We pour the hot mixture onto a surface, spread it out, cut into bars and then let it cool. Very delicious!

    omg, yes, my mum used to make that a lot, still my favorite snack. in uganda, I used to call it simsim balls but after coming to Europe, I found them here but it's called caramel sesame. 😍😍
    it doesn't taste as soon as the one u made though. 😊 😊

    Sesame seeds in the US we use it as a garnish for chicken called sesame chicken the Chinese people use it a lot in their dishes.Also the sesame oil is very tasty when making stir fried vegetables with chicken mixed together.

    We make one quite similar to yours . Its called Bene balls and instead of rice we use sesame seeds! Would love to try one of yours!

    Maybe you can try making it into squares, by placing a little oil in a square or rectangular pan & flatten it out, then cut it into small pieces. If those are truly sesame seeds, they have a tendency to lower the blood sugar, so they have to be eaten in moderation.
